victor wanyama handball

looks worse when you see it there.

it was a good penalty shout - firstly, ledley blocks a shot, which may have been destined for the top corner for all we know, by turning his face away and stretching his arm out. He should have been a man about it and faced up to the shot.

even after it hits his arm, the ball is clearly going to break to a hearst player in the box, when Wanyama sticks his hand on it.

so, to sum it up:

  • Ledley prevents a shot with a high, outstretched arm.
  • Wanyama then stops the ball falling to a Jambo inside the box, by using his hand.

it's debatable, many will see it as a penalty, many won't - but everyone must surely be in agreement Hoopers goal should not have stood.

so 1-0, or 2-1, whatever, Hearts worthy winners, fair & square.

Love the fact that Ledley and TLB seem to be delighting in the fact that the ref stated that he thought Wanyama handled it as if it was proof that he got it wrong...on the assumption that he had mistaken Ledley and Wanyama but low and behold Wanyama did fucking handle it!

Also, Thompson in his interview says; "Whether Hooper was offside or not, it got us back in the game only for a decision to cost us!" The ridiculous irony in that statment is beyond belief!

its beyond belief.

if the game finished 1-1 at 90 mins then hearts woudl have been robbed, done by an offside goal.

justice was done.

But Wanyama is a £15 Million pound midfield superstar in the making probably even the best defensive midfielders in Britain he would never let the ball touch his hand

It's amazing that Celtic haven't won the league by Novemember and made an impact in Europe with the praise their midfield get from the Scottish Media

Victor Wanyama - £10 Million

Beram Kayal - £12 Million

Scott Brown - £10 Million

Joe Ledley - £5 Million

Efrain Juarez - £7 Million (look how her turned out haha)

Ki Sung Yeung - £15 Million

I have seen figures similar to those above that in the Scottish press for their midfielders, it's amazing how little they have achieved over the last 2 years with the amount of praise they get from te Scottish press.

Just showed a few tims in my work this & they're it was a clear penalty.

makes you wonder why they want to sign that big spastic frazer forsthster on a permanent contract when waggamamma & ledley seem like top notch shot-stoppers themselves.

No question what-so-ever - the fact that the Jambos didn't react until Wanyama's handled says it all to me. Ledley's looked (to me) like it was most likely ball to hand, BUT there's plenty of instances where that's been called as a penalty right there. Clearly different with Wanyama, as there's a deliberate handling. Ref got the call 100% correct.

What's this Ian Black handball they are all slabbering on about?

it was the same as wanyamas really, but in the middle of the pitch.

the celtic-minded believe that this was worthy of a second yellow & a sending off, but neither Ledleys or Waggamammas was even a foul.

Ian Black punched the ball away pretty much when it had got past him, should've been a second booking and a sending off at 0-0 in the first half.
