docspiderman 1,178
It's not through the fighting fund. It was paid for through money raised at a dance in the wee Rangers club.Sorry, did not realise that.

Ger for life 199
Mr Struth gave all young players a card and said " here lad take this to my Tailor, he will sort you out." I have contributed to the RFFF and I have no issue with funds being used to pay off small creditors. Mr Struth would expect no less.

bluegecko 306
Glencairn Crystal refused to take the money from the fans stating that the club has been a long standing customer and they were confident that the bill would be settled when the club could. Also said you don't kick a customer when their down! However the fans who showed up at the factory in EK to settle the debt refused to leave till they accepted the cash. The owner has said he will hold the money till the club itself settle and then donate the money to a fans charity

The RFF is for the running costs of the club and should only used for that. The RFFF was set up to help keep our club going for the remainder of this season. Having said that we should realise that all creditors equate to negative equity therefore the least amount of creditors, the better it is for our club. What you should take cognisance of is that the major creditors will be settled before the minor creditors. Therefore if our fighting fund can alleveiate any financial burden by paying off our minor/small creditors then why not? Our small creditors may be unable to afford our non payment. We do need as many friends as possible during these troubled times. Let's do everything right to the right people. It's called Karma! WVB 2,560
Think it is wrong and plain stupidity for a "fighting fund" to be used like this. Its attitudes like this that inspire people to do things off their own back. Rather than waste time & energy bickering over how to put the RFFF to its best use, some folk will just go out and settle up with some creditors themselves.
