Duff and Phelps - statement tonight

Recommended Posts

SKY deal will collapse if we don't get a deal. No Sky deal will be a nightmare scenario which makes the previous SKY and Setanta deal look like a common away day defeat in comparisson.

This will most likely tip other clubs over the edge, as some have said already.

If murray and whyte had not taken our club to this position, there would be no fees for them and they take their money from the pot, after being agreed by the creditors and of they object at the fee they can ask the court to look a their bill.

Madina they are getting paid a going rate fro doing a job.

I've got no problem with them getting paid what the going rate is, just concerns me why they are dragging their heels so much and why Whyte was so insistent that it was them he wanted as Administarators

This is not a long time regarding administrations, just that this one is very emotional and that creates the problem in peoples thoughts.

Waiting a few more days isn't really a big deal for any of us fans, considering how long we have already waited!

One thing's for sure, each and every Rangers fan will be a more patient person after this whole situation and how much it has forced us to be patient.

I know we've been getting deadlines not met here there and everywhere, but I do believe that this time it is genuine and we will know the future of our club in the next few days.

Im nervous now :(

they still have not approach the subject on removal of whyte(how this will happen) in any of there statements.

until this matter is solved how can anyone put forward an unconditional bid?

Bill miller delt concisely with shite - don't talk to him and let the courts sort it out while we get on with life

Lose some win many - thats the mark of our leader Alex!

What about that tonight...salmond telling the voters fro the council elections that is not a vote for Independence......................

Is he saying they are thick?

Or is he frightened they will get fucked of the people do think that, and he gets fucked

Well, that's a major problem that the bidders must accept. And the SPL. If we don't get an agreement, liquidation follows.

And if liquidation follows prior to the SPL meeting on the 30th, the current rules are that go to division 3. Without passing go.

SPL TV deal collapses, SPL away attendances take a massive hit, other SPL sponsorships collapse, their competition becomes a non-event until our guaranteed return. The SPL will lose millions. Probably enough to push more clubs over the financial edge.

Miller spelt out enough of the realities to the SPL when asking for conditions that eradicate more penalties than we have already suffered.

Will the SPL walk on the side of the economic realities or will they stick to their - ha fucking ha - principles.

We'll know very soon now.

your right. but think what an unconditional bid actually means.

its impossible surely.

i know, but should that not have been admins job. d&p are leaving the bidders to deal with whyte/ticketus and buying the club yet expect an unconditional bid.

your not going to bid 12mill for something then accept you dont really own it.

imo d&p are not doing there job properly. they should be saying to bidders heres what has to be done reguarding whyte/ticketus are you still interested.

they are expecting far too much from the bidders and its costing our club dearly

Happy to discuss politics with you any time but here? Oh and Alex will consolidate the snp position as the party with the largest number of seats in scotland in 2 weeks time - and a prime target being Glasgow !!

No - sorry it is NOT up to D&P to structure a deal - it is up to the bidders to structure a deal and D&P to evaluate and facilitate the bid if possible - they are NOT deal makers but administrators!

well we need a deal maker as letting the bidders try and structure deals with everyone is not working.

1 persons needs to strcture a deal then lay it on the table and see what bidder/bidders want to accept it.

if no one likes it then we have to go bill millers way or the full newco step.

As administrators D&P have the following objectives

(a) rescue a company as a going concern;

(b) achieve a better price for the company’s assets or otherwise realise their value more

favourably for the creditors as a whole than would be likely if the company were

wound up (without first being in administration); or

© in certain circumstances, realise the value of property in order to make a distribution

to one or more preferential creditors.

Hopefully they will achieve point a)

What is the point of the blue knights if they cant put a bid in?

Was their plan to just be given the club?

That was in the back of every bidders mind,if the figures quoted are true.

That's what happens when you are stuck between a rock and a hard place.....everybody wants it cheap. :pipe:
