nvager 498
1. What happens if both TBK and Miller pull out? Is that the end of Rangers in any form?2. What happens if we then are forced into liquidation - who owns Ibrox/Murray Park/Albion Car Park - the creditors between them all?3. As a consequence of liquidation is there then an investigation into the previous owners/directors of RFC?4. Will CW escape any criminal charges?5. Will Ticketus then lose 24m?6. Will Ticketus then go after CW?7. What will SDM's final position in all this end up being?8. Where are the BKs getting their funding from? Is that the end of Rangers in any form?No - we then go into liquidation - and I would expect Brian K to step up - 2 Types of Liquidation Newco and selling stuff for cash - even I will put a bid in if we go this route.2. What happens if we then are forced into liquidation - who owns Ibrox/Murray Park/Albion Car Park - the creditors between them all?essentially yes - they get sold for cash and it gets distributed3. As a consequence of liquidation is there then an investigation into the previous owners/directors of RFC?EVEN the CVA does this the administrators report deals with the conduct of the directors leading upto administration4. Will CW escape any criminal charges?Oh god I hope not - which is why I liked Millers bid. 5. Will Ticketus then lose 24m?No they will chase CW (so yes ) 6. Will Ticketus then go after CW?Yes - sorry jumped the gun in 57. What will SDM's final position in all this end up being?A lucky bastard who gets of scot free!8. If no bidder or cash injection from the shareholder appears, administration has failed and a liquidator will be appointed.2. The liquidator will sell the assets off to the highest bidder to raise a pot of money to repay creditors3. Liquidators have far reaching powers to hold previous directors to account4. Unlikely to face criminal charges, but potentially civil charges5. They'll be a creditor and join the queue of other unsecured creditors and get a pence in the pound6. They'll be getting their lawyers to go over the personal guarantees given by Whyte no doubt7. SDM will probably face investigation by the liquidator same as all other directors8. Who knows? Ticketus/ the fans through share issue it seems

Bluepeter9 5,167
Yes, but will another Rangers newco arise from the dust? BP seems to think so. Who would own that new company?Newco only exists as a football club if the person who buys the assets wants that ( lets say Brian Kennedy) but the liquidator has to get the best price they can for the assets. With newco all the old debts are left behind as well. From a business perspective only, newco is the way to go the cost in football terms is high ( no Europe for 3 years min) and depends on spl situation. But it would be a clean start. I actually think if we go newco we would get more bidders !
