RANGERST1LLADIE 33
Really good point but surely that would be a contract extension??
Alnic3856 358
We won't have the money to sign him anyway the way things are looking.
Darlo Bear 1
It's a ban against registering new players (over 18) we can still renew the contracts of any player we hold the registration to. We'll hold Aluko's registration until he signs for a new club. Remember the sheep held his registration when he signed for us - despite leaving them 4 or 5 months before. Madina 1,488
Hope we can keep him, he has been of the bright things to come out of this season. I will be suprised if he is still here next season though, especially with the interest that Spanish club had in him a few weeks back
gunslinger 270
we can't even make him an offer till we have a new owner and his current deal runns out in 6 weeks.
waldo 7
we can't even make him an offer till we have a new owner and his current deal runns out in 6 weeks.I'd disagree with that assertion. Administrators can take care of issues regarding the running of the club, including renewals of any contracts. For example, assuming a suppliers contract was up for renewal - that could be renewed if it was in the interests of the club and not directly against the interests of the creditors.Obviously the primary issue is the interest of the creditors (not for us obviously, but to Duff+Phelps). And in that instance, why would you not renew a contract when you you stand to lose a valuable asset?
