gersandy 594
Putting the financial penalty aside, the transfer embargo shouldnt have any effect on our progress as a club.Whoever came in was going to make sweeping cuts to the playing staff, and there wouldnt have been many coming in anyway. We can still sign under-18s. Weve been on here all week saying we'd be happy to see a team of youngsters develop. In the summer get rid of anyone not willing to play for under £10k a week, give the youngsters we already have at our disposal a chance. With a few loanees in, we'll still be in the mix.In a couple of seasons we'll have a fair chunk of our debt payed off, a team bursting with 21 year olds with 100 games under their belts. Jimfanciesthedude 24,504
the problem is that we could in theory lose ALL of our first team stars should the worst happenin that case we would be playing 11 starting under 18's, if we have that many good enough

Darren Cole, Ross Perry, Jamie Ness (if fit), Kyle Hutton, Rhys McCabe, Andy Mitchell, Kai Naismith.
aranger 6
Asking a bidder to gamble millions on what may be a relegated team is the problem.A few of our lower earners stay and about 13 18 year olds to keep us up would imo see bids go down rather than up.If its a Newco. we could start the Season minus double figures also, who is going to buy that. bloonosed 14
We would probably walk the 3rd 2nd and 1st divisions with our youth players. No worry there as far as im concerned.By the time we are back n the SPl then we will be ok !
gersandy 594
Maybe im underestimating the spl as a competition. But with whatever team were left with, im confident the'd compete in the top 6 at least.
thebooler 4,509
We won't be allowed loanees. The ban is on registering players. Loanees must also be registered.

Could be back in the same state next year if relegated.Think you need to have a wee think about what this could mean for any investor, its not how a supporter is thinking here but an investor. Creampuff 22,628
It's the fucking principle. We are clearly being singled out by the most corrupt FA in football.
stevotrueblue 382
A thought just occurred to me. If we where to become a NEWCO, then would all the assests including the players not be registered to the OLDCO? When we then restart as a newco and try to bring the assets and players over to the newco,, would they not then need to be re-registered to the newco?????In other words who are the players registered to during any interim period? That indeed would be another nightmare senario if indeed it had another knock on effect in that case.

Is an under 19 team heading for the first division ( possibly) still worth the same investment. If these sanctions where in place when bids came in how many would have even bothered. It could take two years for investors ideas and plans for the club to begin. What if the fans get fed up, what if season tickets are not on sale before the season starts there`s a multitude of new questions that need thought about. allanh91 75
We have to start looking at any positives left, I hope the bidders can do the same. The principle stands though.
GMac 1,405
Some positions in football are dominated by experienced players, very few Goalkeepers and Central Defenders are teenagers in senior football.

boss 1,941
Would we be allowed to resign the players whose contracts run out at the end of the season ie Aluko, Little??Yes. It's helpful to note the distinction between a player's registration at the SFA (spit) and the player's contract with a club. It's a registration embargo only so any players where we already hold their registrations can be given new contracts.

Stop turning the other cheek to these bastards and face them head on. I'm, sick of seeing so many so willing to accept these ridiculous sanctions when we could destroy these corrupt bastards by the various forms of protest we have discussed on here. Don't let the bastards drag us down.
