Getstiffed 8,863
you're up a gumtree if you think HMRC are going to accept something like 10p in the pound, those cvnts will wind us up to send a message to the EPL.Thats like saying squashing a fly would frighten a lion. gunslinger 270
When he said Bill Miller had his support.(Well, he never really had it, did he?)he never really believed miller was viable in reality. did he?
pansypotterthedirtyrotter 7
its more like 20p.how did we get to 20p and why do you think HMRC would even entertain it?
legalbeagle 3,734
9 million plus duff and Phelps fees give or take.Ok, take that as face value then, why would D&P be able to accept that bid as opposed to one at £11.2m? Their fees are nowhere near £2.2m. Just accepting the best offer for the creditors?
gunslinger 270
how did we get to 20p and why do you think HMRC would even entertain it?because they will and once you take out the bond holders 9 million ish is 20 ish p in the pound. why do you think everyone is bidding at that level? pansypotterthedirtyrotter 7
because they will and once you take out the bond holders 9 million ish is 20 ish p in the pound. why do you think everyone is bidding at that level?no they won't, especially as removing bond holders will be seen as favouring one creditor over another(HMRC will decline on that basis).i think everyone is bidding at thatlevel because they can liquidate(newco) us and then make a tidy profit by selling later. Taking the bond holders out would not cause HMRC to reject it, the bond holders own part of the stadium and it would be unfair on them to be paid in CVA. Their fees are nowhere near £2.2m. Just accepting the best offer for the creditors? Were their fees up to March 30th not around £1.2 million according to their statement? I would guess that their fees to the end of this month will be around £2.4 million.
bluepeter 5,627
illuminating as ever bp.The cash in TBK offer amounted to around £1.5m for a CVA. Better?

gunslinger 270
in fairness to bp at one time when tbk were the only real bidders (might still be) there was an offer of 5 million with a claim for 3.5 in prize money. but that was a while back and was a warning shot to d&p. Beyond that, it's up to each individual to believe whichever of us they like - or neither. For what it's worth, you won't find any anti-TBK posts from me. Or anti-Miller. It's all about saving Rangers for me, anyone who can achieve that is fine by me.

I don't know if they've revised it or not, I hope they have if they expect to win.
