MCLACHLAN1 49
yeah they are. they will have to purchase us. do the due dilligence and fund us meantime. then thier ownership will be diluted by the share issue all the money going back into rangers. it will cost them millions all in. of course all things going well they with the fans will own part of a football club worth millions.'all things going well'Your dreamingThese guys have criticised other bidder asking where working capital was coming from.Yet they are not investing real money themselves. What happens when share issue isn't fully taken up due to economic Climate?Dingwall and his magic 15-30 mil he says we would raiseAbsolute Joke

MCLACHLAN1 49
But what if another bidder is offering actual investment of their own plus a share issue?Surely that's the best idea?
Non_Sucumbi 876
Rangers fans as a whole want the club saved first and foremost. They are unlikely to invest in large numbers in a share issue run by people who, in the eyes of many, lack credibility and leadership. Of course I am referring to TBK and their RST lackies. Both groups have demonstrated an inane amount of self-interest putting their own agendas and ideals ahead of the interests of the club. Not unlike Murray and Shyte who are responsible for this mess. Sounds good. No worries there. Then you look behind that.Where will they get the funding ? Themselves or a loan ?Who will pay that loan ?I've seen no evidence at all that TBK are willing to shell out tens of millions and I don't believe for a moment they ever will.At least not of their own money. gunslinger 270
by investor i'm assuming you mean through sales in retail and season tickets as opposed to shares, in which case it's not investing, it's sustaining. Fans will not buy into Rangers in the form of a share deal in their thousands.your reply is a bit closed, you refer to TBK being better than the last owner - but why settle for marginally better when we can have so much better in the form of a larger investment in our club and someone who is not reliant on a share option to sustain rather than improve our club?yes that's what I mean. do we have that second option? I heard this about miller but his plan was to buy us cut costs like nothing on earth then ship us on for a profit. I have no issue with a bid that is pumping cash in. nor with one that's making sensible cuts so long as its not a newco.
Cadman 342
If it's a loan then you could probably guarantee that it will be secured against the clubs assets - Stadium, Murray Park and the Albion car park. TBK's faffing about with finances could, in the long run, leave us with nothing - they need to be more clear where their funding is coming from and what their strategy would be if a share issue fell flat. Guardian 4,281
Barring a truly massive investment, a newco is now our only option.Anyone saying otherwise is manipulating fans hopes. That won't go well when they are forced to admit the truth. StevieMac90 65
cuts will have to be made by any buyer. much will depend on the fans with tbk as it always does in the end. at least we get something for our cash this time. the truth is no matter what happens today or this month the fans will remain rangers biggest investor.think thats the most sensible thing you've said in weeks
