after seeing the letter of their proposed bid i am raging.

its time we show support to d&p who have clearly made the proper decision in rejecting tbk's offer.

if fans group leaders have already seen this and are still demanding a meeting with the admin because of the tbk rejection then i call for them to resign immediately.

im no fan of d&p but the abuse they have taken over the tbk situation is now shown to be very wrong.

its time we the fans demand tbk put in a proper bid or fuck off and stop hindering our club from being saved.

wake up fellow bears. tbk are a fucking joke outfit.

We are in no position to chase anyone at the moment.

I feel that their bid wasn't a good one, but its getting to the stage where any bid must be better than none.

theres no way admin could have completed that offer. so it is the same as no bid.

If you want to believe a bunch of Craig Whyte hired corporate heads who don't give a fuck about Rangers before a bunch of guys trying to save our Club, then that's your choice. "BEING SAVED" by who FFS? Guys who didn't give a flying fuck about our plight for the last few months until now. They see meat on an almost dead body, the vulture bastards. Vultures NEVER move in until they think the body is almost dead. CAN'T YOU SEE THAT??? Why do you think there is a last minute rush. Fuckin rush of vultures wanting to pick flesh off the bones - thats why. OPEN YOUR EYES. Where were they before this and why not before this?

Forgive my ignorance but could you point out why this particular bid is so wrong? What do you consider a bid that is a proper one, one that D & P decide is proper? I'm not totally up to date with all the offers on the table but I've yet to hear a realistic value placed by them that says if you match it you'll get the 1st chance to get your hands on the club.

I'm in the dark as much as the next Bear but for us to dismiss or back any particular group based on gut feeling, media reporting or whatever is something that we should be distancing ourselves from and just trying to see the whole sorry mess out.

simply put, 5mil will never cover a cva imo. so its pointless.

i believe it will need to be between 8-10mil hard cash upfront to even get a cva considered.

selling the assets through liquidation would raise atleast 10mil so any offer needs to be near this. upfront and gauranteed

Feel this way myself. If we weren't in such a perilous situation, i'd really want to tell these guys where to go. Beggars can't be choosers though. They come across well, but their bids seem frankly bizarre

I like their business plan but the bid just isn't there. The whole 'we'll put in £1m if Rangers reach the Champions League quarter final' is ludicrous and you can bet that that is included within their grand total that they are putting out there. the 500k for reaching the group stage is unrealistic enough. Bits like that, bumping up their reported total bid with money they will never actually pay seems a bit daft

As you say, hard to know all the details, it seems though that theirs is the weakest on the table

tbk are not doing this out the kindnest of there heart no matter what they say. they clearly see that in 5yrs or so they can easily double any money they put in just now. i have no problem with that.

i do have a problem with them kidding on this is a selfless act and also the amount of trouble they are causing when in reality they cant back up the talk.

i had always prefered bk to anyone else until i seen the official bid.

If TBK were so desperate to save the club, it would have been saved weeks ago. Just like everyone else, they are trying to get us for as cheap as they possibly can. They are playing the game just like others.

It's probably even more concerning that TBK have been in this race for the entire time we've been in administration, yet have still not come to a satsifactory bid. It's hardly as if D+P are knocking back a massive bid from TBK/BK in favour of something not as good.

Simply playing devils advocate here but if BK had said they had top CVA specialists on board, had done due diligence etc and had made a bid based on their evidence why would you be so strongly against it? You may think £x million may be needed but perhaps it wouldn't? I don't know...

I'm going to remain on Swiss ground here and not burn any bridges that may be needed at some point!

The administrators can't accept tbk bid because it doesn't give the creditors best return on their money. I don't know who will takeover but they better do it quick. If tbk want to become pb then they need to up their offer. Just get the pb announced quickly so we can get someone in to start the fight back. Time is running out and my nerves are Fucking shattered. No Surrender

I suppose it comes down to future investment in the club too. It's a pretty simplistic way of looking at it but I don't think it is a million miles off - the club need money, the more money the better. I'm all for the idea of TBK/BK - they are the correct people for the club, it just seems that their bid is not near good enough

I've not read the whole proposal so I couldn't comment on particular aspects of their bid, what I will say is that we shouldn't be so quick to dismiss this offer (as well as the others) as they may be orientated the same way. Let's not forget that most influential people will use any spin they can to make their side seem strongest.

admins job is to get the best deal for creditors, lets not dream they really care about the rangers. so surely a specialist would have told him u need to be very close to if not better than what can be made through liquidation.

business wise i think bk is the kind of man i would like to take us over, but if he isnt going to put up then he needs to shut up.

the division this is creating in the support is bad enough.

as i have stated many times i have no problem with someone buying us with the intention of sorting the club out then in 5 or so yrs making a profit by selling us

Similarly, I don't profess to know the ins and outs. The spin on this one is significant though. Adding money to the grand total which they'll never have to pay is a bit much. It's basically who can spin best. Ha my mind is fried with all this.

They came across so well yesterday, just think that they need to back up their words with actions. Too often in this process they have said things and not backed them up. Even in the press conference yesterday, BK simply batted off questions about upping finances.

5.5 for the cva. hearts paid in full. debentures looked after.

June and julys wages paid.

d&p paid

possible if improbable euro bonuses.

its a good offer.

possibly not the best one. we shall see on that.

Normally I'd agree however there does appear a slight stench of something coming from the pair currently running things at the club. Valuations via liquidation will surely be subjective though, especially in current financial climate, wouldn't you agree?

Almost certainly not the best one considering theirs is considered one of the weaker ones? I don't profess to knowing the ins and outs of bids, what is good and what is not. My main problem is sneaky things like adding nigh on impossible European money to their grand total.

Its spin from all sides in reality. PM and BK's spin seems to be more accpeted though as they are seen to be the men in the best interests of the club

The short piece I saw on SSN yesterday with BK stated that he had people in place ready to step in and make things happen - it's hard for him to demonstrate that without given the chance to do so. As for his skills in spin, of batting away possibly uncomfortable questions via the media - isn't that something we have been crying out for from our PR dept for some time?
