BlueSuedeSambas 53,752
How it's worked out for him at Man City was so predictable.Could see it coming a mile off. I still think he's a decent player though, he was just never good enough to come in and hold down a place at Man City.

8watp8 254
Henderson was decent last season. He is nowhere near good enough for where Liverpool want to be
SuperLeeMcCulloch 2,330
He is nowhere near good enough for where Liverpool want to beI'd agree with this but Rodgers played him a lot last season so can't see him going anywhere.
King_gazza 1,065
Sky Sports understands Tottenham have reignited their interest in Porto winger Christian Atsu.Atsu's future at Porto has been the subject of intense speculation with the Ghana international refusing to sign a new deal at the Estadio do Dragao. As a result of his contract wrangle, Atsu has found himself in exile at Porto and the Portuguese side are now thought to be ready to sell the 21-year-old rather than see him run down his contract and leave on a free transfer next summer.Liverpool are thought to have had one offer for Atsu rejected earlier this summer, but now Tottenham are weighing up a move for the speedy wideman. Gillete 1,338
Really? I thought Suarez was given quite a big pay rise with his new contract last year.Oh yeah, forgot he signed a new dealWill obviously be on more than that now
simplythebest 11,453
Oh yeah, forgot he signed a new dealWill obviously be on more than that nowThing is they see to be trying to keep Suarez on principle as much as anything so they'll perhaps be letting Rodgers have an expensive signing or two regardless. King_gazza 1,065
Inter Milan have confirmed the signing of Brazilian right-back Wallace on a season-long loan from Chelsea. The 19-year-old joined the Blues earlier this summer from Fluminense and impressed in pre-season.However, with opportunities limited at Stamford Bridge, Jose Mourinho was keen to loan out the Brazil Under-20 defender and after a delay due to work permit issues, he has now linked up with Inter having passed a medical.Wallace is the 12th addition made by new Nerazzurri boss Walter Mazzarri, who will take charge of his first competitive game in charge when Genoa visit the San Siro on August 25.Crazy to think the likes of Inter are signing EPL reserve players. Bears&Reds 460
Oh yeah, forgot he signed a new dealWill obviously be on more than that nowSuarez is on a £120k a week.John Henry has no problem with the club paying out big wages or big fees just not on shite players. The huge earners who have been moved off the books this last year or so were all squad players or those whose performances had started to dip and were not deemed worthy of the wages they were getting; Downing was on £80k a week, Reina was on 100k a week, Carragher around the same, just crazy money. This transfer window Liverpool have actually up around £5 million from the sales and have saved a huge amount on salaries, so there is plenty of room for a couple of big bids for players, Rodgers wants 4 players before the window closes, the left back Siquiera from Granada should hopefully be done this week, he also wants a centre back, a left sided winger and an attacking midfielder. If he can get the likes of Sakho or Papadoplous for CB, Willian for LW and somebody of a similar quality for midfield, playing along with Coutinho, Sturridge and Suarez who will be staying this could be quite an exciting year for the club. BlueSuedeSambas 53,752
Etoo being linked with Chelsea, also someone on twitter saying Man Utd have contacted his agent but looks like a fake account.Even at 32/33 I think Eto'o would be a great pick up for any club looking to compete both domestically and at European level. They were saying on The Game podcast that he's apparently willing to take a wage cut (he would need to anyway based on the wages he got in Russia although a lot of his contract was front loaded) providing he gets a longer contract. They also hinted at Chelsea's interest then and it was recorded on Monday.
