They were an incredible partnership.Chelsea didn't need a 30 goal a season striker since Lampard scored over 20 every single season easily. A CB which Chelsea already have Cahill, Tery, Ivanovich, Zouma and Christensen so where would he fit in?Then you have to remember Chelsea need to sell another player before it could even go through.
