BlueSuedeSambas 53,754
Somebody is probably going to pay well over the odds for him this Summer.
PaddockLoyal 105
Grant Holt's agent claims Norwich City have refused to offer the striker a new three-year contract as he is "too old".Lee Payne told BBC Radio Norfolk that Holt, 31, has been left "hurt" after negotiations over a new deal stalled.Continue reading the main storyPayne alleged talks broke down when Canaries chief executive David McNally questioned the age of the club's top scorer."David bluntly turned around and said 'you're too old so forget a third year'," said Payne.http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18308599Grolt
Misteral 2,932
As well as a longer deal he also asked for a raise from 10K a week to 20K a week, or so the story goes.
papaguy51 912
The grammar used in his Tweets genuinely makes me wonder if he ever went to school.

BlueSuedeSambas 53,754
Now knocking back bids over £4m. That's absolutely crazy. Like I said earlier in this thread somebody is going to pay well over the odds for a borderline veteran journeyman who had the season of his life and is unlikely to ever repeat it again. Norwich will be laughing all the way to the bank and Villa fans will be left scractching their heads at the amount paid because they already have better players available to them in Agbonlahor & Bent. Gaz52 11,837
17 goals isn't a bad return but doesn't merit a move to a big side, typical EPL clubs don't want to miss a trick, Norwich will be over the moon with anything over £4m
BlueSuedeSambas 53,754
I think Yakubu and Steven Fletcher would be better value for money buys for any manager looking to beef up his attacking options.
