rst statement re d&p

Recommended Posts

These are extremely serious allegations, and taken at face value, raise serious doubts concerning Duff & Phelps’ independence in the administration process. Roger Isaacs from the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales has claimed this is one of the starkest conflicts of interests he has ever seen means this now needs urgent investigation and the Rangers Supporters’ Trust will be writing to the appropriate agencies requesting a full investigation of Duff and Phelps’ role.

"The number one priority must still remain Rangers exit administration under new ownership and any action against Duff and Phelps should not destabilize this process.

“However, Duff & Phelps need to be independently investigated by the appropriate professional and regulatory bodies. The evidence presented so far suggests that Craig Whyte, Collyer Bristow and representatives of Duff & Phelps were possibly involved in constructing a financial arrangement that is potentially illegal and has done irreparable damage to Rangers FC - no stone should be left unturned in the investigation."

I agree they have to be investigated but im quietly confident with their response that the evidence doesnt stack up the way it was portrayed last night.

The statement from D&P and Grier today stacks up in my book, though would still like some verification (tu)

How many shares do the rst have do you know because i don't know how much influence they have left.

Would a letter from them do any good.

Not belittling, just do not know the answer.

I applaud the RST for this.

The only priority is getting Rangers out of administration, subsequent investigations and actions must not get in the way of saving our football team.

I welcome a full investigation into everything and people who have been calling for D&P to leave should take note nothing has been proven.

I feel their responce to last nights BBC program and the fact the courts appointed them is a good reason not to foam at the mouth in anger at this moment in time.

We still have a CVA to get done and dusted!

The court didn't appoint them, Rangers did. HMRC petitioned, unsuccessfully, for a court appointed administrator

How many times will people use this crock of shit to firm up their argument?

The court could easily have said no and appointed their own administrators…..guess what it? It didn’t happen.

Can we possibly have the name(s) of the signatories so they also can be filed under quislings and bbc lackeys.

John Macmillan, of Rangers Supporters' Association, said: "Virtually every fan is unhappy with their performance."

Asked if supporters of the Ibrox club had faith in the company, Macmillan added: "No, absolutely not.

"I think Duff & Phelps' handling of this adminstration has been a shambles from day one.

Another shitebag who claims to speaks for the fans then.

In the space of two posts you have gone from saying that D&P were appointed by the court, to saying that they were not.
