Bingo!

And yet some " fans" seem to be ashamed at this part of our history.

Fuck them and this shit players born 30 odd miles from the glitterdome..........4 finals and all Children of the Reformation. And do not forget they tried in the past to field a team of rhaticans and nearly got relegated ..........now what's that about sporting integrity and how they survived.

I dont think people are neccessarily ashamed of it, i reckon its more that people just realise that the world has moved on.

Being completely anti-religion, i couldnt give a monkeys fukk who plays for us, as long as we are winning. (tu)

Whilst I agree, I draw the line at signing rabid dirty hoops fans of any sort, be it Maurice Johnstone or anyone else. Nothing to do with religion, I just despise that football club.

The thread is not about admiring future landscapes its about being proud and not ashamed of previous landscapes.

I am proud of our history - it is our history that makes us - but fail to see that playing a protestant team means anything one way or another !

Proud of a great many of our former players including but not restricted to the ones listed above. A remarkable achievement BTW.

Equally proud of players like Amo, Porrini, Amato, who gave 100% every-time they pulled on the blue jersey and even Wee McCann. All players who represented the club well off the park as well.

Do any of them believe in some omnipotent being?? I really don't know or care just as I don't care if they believe in characters from Greek mythology.

Proud of our past ----- Excited about our future.
