I stay just a 100 yards or so from Cambuslang Public Park, when I read this thread last night I thought it was just the usual couple of bands marching up and down the main street for a practice like, but now...........

The whole town is taken over by hundreds possibly thousands of bears--the public park is stowed to the gunnels with folk, hunners of wee happy weans nearly all in gers tops,-the tarrier pubs on the main street have not bothered opening as the main street is a sea of blue, the few areas of grass we got up and down the route are filled with happy family types sitting eating and drinking a bit, all very happy and no signs of any trouble, although I see the mounted polis waiting their chance----looks like a fantastic time for all the Bands and Lodges

My tim neighbours are whinging abouit the drum and flute noise which can be heard all over Cambuslang. Bring it on, already looks like a day to remember.
