GREEN TO BEG LAWWELL

IT will be interesting to gauge the reaction from Rangers supporters to the news that Charles Green is heading for Parkhead to beg Peter Lawwell to show mercy to Rangers.

Particularly as Charles Green and the Green Gang hold no official position within Rangers. Charles Green does NOT own Rangers. The Green Gang do NOT own Rangers.

Yet Green has lifted the lid on how he intends to do business if he and the Green gang do get their greedy paws on the keys to Ibrox.

And it is not an edifying sight for Rangers supporters to view.

Will the Charles Green pleas for Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell be a sign of things to come?

Is this what those Rangers supporters who have defended Charles Green, can expect to see on a regular basis if Green follows through and is handed the keys to Ibrox by those now under serious investigation administrators, Duff and Phelps?

When he goes to beg Lawwell for mercy, will Charles Green bow and scrape? Will he bend his knee and kneel? Will he kiss Lawwell’s ring? The one on his finger, that is.

The bombshell news that Lawwell can expect Charles Green to appear on his doorstep in supplication mode, broke in yet another Daily Record exclusive story on Saturday.

Unfortunately for the hard working reporters who unearthed it, a combination of the editor, chief sub and the back bench, didn’t have a clue how to deal with the tale, burying it deep inside the paper.

That’s where the other vitally important story about the Insolvency Practitioners watchdog being called in to probe the goings on inside Duff and Phelps, was also tucked away.

While a totally meaningless piece of pap about how much a player now long gone from Ibrox, earned during his time at Rangers. The player, who did not have an EBT, was Stefan Klos. The tale was a total irrelevance.

The way the muppets who run the Daily Record news department buried the tales about Green going to beg Lawwell and Duff and Phelps being investigated, must be a source of frustration to the many good, honest, fair, hard working and unbiased journalists employed there.

However, the fact remains, there are still plenty of people in positions of power within the Daily Record, who hate Rangers and all things Rangers, with a burning passion.

They are the heirs to the now departed Tom Hamilton.

But back to Charles Green humiliating a club he does not even own in front of that club’s arch enemy, Celtic chief executive, Peter Lawwell.

The significance of the story is that it gives a clue as to the way Charles Green and the Green Gang will behave if they finally do manage to get their greedy paws on Rangers.

And it also gives rise once again to the question of just who are the Green Gang? Who are the MEN of MYSTERY?

Do Rangers supporters want to know? Or are they happy to bury their heads in the sand and allow Charles Green, the Green Gang and the MEN of MYSTERY to snare Rangers?

Certainly the delaying tactics which are being used by Charles Green in collusion with Duff and Phelps, have now pushed the day of reckoning, when the names of the MEN of MYSTERY are made public, back by three days.

The initial stage was due on Friday, but is now promised on Monday by Duff and Phelps. That is when the letters of Green’s CVA proposals will be sent to creditors.

Originally the date for the creditors’ meeting at which a CVA would be voted on, was due to be 8th June. If that too is delayed three days, the meeting will be held on June 11th.

Should the CVA be approved, there will follow a 28 DAY cooling off period. And only at the end of that 28 DAY cooling off period will Charles Green lift the lid on the members of the Green Gang and name the MEN of MYSTERY.

That is JULY 11th.

And that is MORE than a MONTH later than the original June 6th date on which Charles Green went public as promising would be the date on which he would name names.

Then there is the question of Charles Green proving he has real funding, by handing over £2.7M to the administrators as the first installment.

Charles Green, the Green Gang and the MEN of MYSTERY are already late with that payment.

That £2.7M should have been handed over on Friday, with the rest, almost £6M, due to be in a client account with Duff and Phelps solicitors by June 1st.

What do you think the chances of all of that happening are?

Maybe when he goes on bended knee to kneel in supplication before the Celtic chief executive, Charles Green will also ask Peter Lawwell if the Parkhead sugar daddy, billionaire Dermot Desmond, fancies joining the Green Gang and chipping in some of his loose change.

He lost the plot eons ago I don't read his shit anymore, although he may have a point about the funding of Greens bid, fridays seemed like a deadline that couldn't be missed since apparently the Green consortium had already done "All the legwork" quietly in the background over a period of months, but low and behold it was missed and no reason was given for it.

Friday's deadline was in place because the preceding Monday was the original deadline and it too was going to be missed.

Leggo is bonkers. He is also trying to push some book he claims to have written, I'll bet that's a good read. At least he acknowledges that it is a work of fiction, like everything else he publishes.

Ah yes, in the book a band of merry souls go on a magical quest to convince the whole world that £5.5m is the same as £8.5m, and that only the evil Lord Duffphelps stops them from taking control of the kingdom.

The point he is making is that if Green meets Lieswell he should be man enough to make sure it aint at Lieswells place. When the puppet Regan first met Lieswell in his official role he went running over to the piggery like a little puppy

Apart from him supporting TBK, I can't see much difference in how he writes his blog from before. :sherlock:

I think I just enjoyed seeing someone stand up for the club, They were probably always shite but it was just nice to see someone fighting our corner.

Well the problem is that by doing so he can no longer be objective, he has firmly railroaded himself into the "All other bids are bad for Rangers" avenue and that makes for one sided predictable trash talk, he has nowhere to go now but down the attack avenue as anything else would be backtracking.

He was in the same boat when he was backing Whyte to the hilt, yet he was being championed as being the lone voice speaking up for The Rangers.
