derek1872 548
Just driving home in the car listening to 5 live, said the SFA won't appeal the decision that overturned the transfer embargo. Its back to the drawing board for them with one of the other options. Is this good news?
Mr Struth 137
It means they will reassess their decision.

Gaz92 966
Listened to it on SSN, can't make out if the presenter said they "will now" face further punishment for taking the matter to court, or "will not"?
ScottBF2 3,540
If they punish us further then it's down to sour grapes, and we can appeal that in court as well. They have no grounds for punishment now, they issued what they felt was fair and it turned out it wasn't. A lesser or more severe punishment would leave them looking even more ridiculous (is that possible?).
derek1872 548
on 5 live it defo said they must choose one of the options available to them now.

Rizla 2
So what's the options open to them then. Another fine maybe?
ScottBF2 3,540
Lord Glennie stipulated that his ruling didn't preclude any other punishment being administered, so long as it was one of those listed.Where do they go from here now, the lesser punishments they have already deemed insufficient and they can't realistically expect to kick us out of the game so they're stuck in a position of looking like idiots either way. Bluepeter9 5,167
So what's the options open to them then. Another fine maybe?A mass burning at the stake !!!
caseyjones 3,009
So what's the options open to them then. Another fine maybe?Suspension or expulsion from the game, banned from the Scottish Cup or removal of SFA membership. We have already been given the maximum fine. Rizla 2
Suspension or expulsion from the game, banned from the Scottish Cup or removal of SFA membership. We have already been given the maximum fine. The maximum fine is £100,000. They fined us £160,000. That's surely along the same lines as the transfer embargo, made up rules. It's baffling why we didn't appeal that either. I think I was one of the few that thought a season transfer embargo was much better than the other options. I think we might have shot ourselves in the foot.
