Sobatai 70
I've heard of criminal insanity, but this borders on criminal stupidity. The first rule of holes isn't to stop digging, it's to realise that you're in a hole.
Silver Fox 167
The fact that Regan is prepared to use a social network site to argue his point is beyond me, as the senior employee of the SFA he should have the sense to cancel his twitter account and keep council on anything to do with company business. I would sack any employee of mine for using twitter to update the world on possible issues, after all this is akin to Rangers going through a disciplinary hearing which may or may not end up back in court. The man is clearly a fool and dangerous to the future of Scottish football, how his colleagues and peers can sit back and allow this man to act the way he does is unbelievable.Exactly--here we have the appointed leader of football in Scotland discussing his opinions on official court judgements on f'in TWITTER jeezIf the sight of Neil Lennon was distasteful when he started arguing with fans on TWITTER after Rangers Ibrox victory, then what about Regan acting with even worse impropriety by criticizing the courts judgement in an equally frivolous manner. If as the leader of Scottish Football he expects us to occasionally accept decisions wrongly made by referees without complaining, and indeed punishing managers and players who choose to do so with fines and suspensions, then you would think the least he could do was to set an example by accepting the decision of a higher authority with the same grace he expects others to do when confronted by his own governing body's decisionsUnfit for purpose, incompetent, possibly corrupt, resign now Regan ! Ricky_ 893
Sir Stuart is totally correct on this one. The Lord Glennie only referred it back to the SFA to reconsider, but what if the SFA dont change their decision?Personally, i think we got off lightly and have a cheek complaining! actually bheastie boy, he "set aside" the embargo, meaning, it's a goner.your right, you did get off lightly, for harbouring a peado and contniually shaming the country by desecrating the memory of our war dead. boss 1,941
in the Judicial Panel Protocol, under General Disciplinary Rules, there is no Article 95. It goes from Rule 66 (Article 94.1) to Rule 67 (Article 96.1) - you would think he would learn IF IT'S NOT IN THE RULE BOOK IT DOESN'T APPLY You make a valid point - which is for going to be relevant in the future if/when we are charged for going to court .The Rule numbers in the JPP refer to the Article numbers. Not all Articles are covered by Rules in the JPP list of sanctions, including some that Regan would wish to use. Interesting times ahead. Rupret 223
He didn't say Lord Glennie was wrong, just that the SFA are right. It is all very well doing it on Twitter, lets see him say the same in a court of Scottish law.The sooner this clown is removed the better, not just for Rangers, but Scottish football as well. Gaffbear 4,096
When you're in a hole of your own making...Stewart, fancy turning up at the Court of Session to tell Lord Glennie that his judgements are mince? So he basically means they can do what they want depending how much they hate a member club. The whole thing is a joke from top to bottom. They talk about the integrity of the game and the league but where was their integrity when they took Liewells tour of Japan shite for fact and didn't give us a break before our UEFA cup final yet Celtic got 10 days in 2003.Where is their integrity when they threaten closure of Ibrox and fines for songs while Celtic hold up pro IRA banners, death threats to Rangers players and sectarian pro IRA chanting.Where is their integrity when Referee's are threatened and publicly ridiculed by the Celtic management team and boardroom?Where is their integrity when they are meant to veto and takeover yet let Whyte slip by then try to put the blame solely on us.The list goes on and on. J_RFC87 761
Regan fails to understand why he is wrong.A business that requires to buy and sell playersIn order to continue trading... and he takes that away? No wonder a court of law deemed the ruling illegal "deemed fit" - If the SFA said death to all Rangers employees, would he have the same argument?
