Gers1690 194
Simply in reference to Cardiff City http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18324804"Cardiff City are to go ahead with plans to rebrand the club, including changing the kit from blue to red and introducing a new badge."I'd be heartbroken if the Gers switched colours and played in red after all the history associated at our club, or any club. I wonder how Cardiff fans will react. Wouldn't mind playing in Orange as an away kit though (again)
RWM1216 20
More chance of selling pork based Bar Mitzvah treats than changing our colours.....
MisterC 12,256
I would go with gold and amber as first choice and red, white and black stripes for the away top. Maybe try it for a season or two and see how it goes down. I dont think the fans would be that bothered to be honest.

Turnberry18 3,204
We should never be compared to some club like Cardiff City; it as an insult to anyone's intelligence. It sums them up that they can make a move like this.

Bothwellbear 1,392
Pretty disgusting that this is what has happened to football. The game is getting further and further away from the real football supporter. I really feel bad for the Cardiff City supporters.
caseyjones 3,009
It would be accepted in much the same way as everything else that has been changed over time. All it would need would be some good PR. Look at the acceptance of a newco for proof.
North Rd 2,860
Easy answer for Cardiff fans is just to buy the away top....
loyalfollower 1,543
to be perfectly honest theres nothing wrong with a newco. Its still rangers with 140 years of tradition and history. Only people against it were the media and obviously other clubs saw a chance to hammer us. If green completes the takeover is it not a newco that owns r.f.c? The rangers football group own it now, then all being well sevco are going to be the owners. Under murray it was m.i.h that owned us. So this idea that a newco is an unwelcome beast is plainly just daft
