caseyjones 3,009
Excellent article explaining the deal. The numbers involved are astonishing.http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2012/06/17/this-bubble-ain%E2%80%99t-bursting-yet-all-the-details-you%E2%80%99d-ever-want-to-know-about-the-premier-league%E2%80%99s-new-tv-deals-170601/
Danny Morrison 64
It really is disgusting to think, Rangers have suffered so many problems because of a financial debt that amounted to a mere 30M.And yet in the EPL, you could be 100M in debt and getting along just nicely. It’s sickening to think clubs like Wigan, Bolton, West Brom etc could outbid us for shite players about ten times over. We need to understand why the EPL is attracting big money, it's not because the actual product has a value, the a value isin the fact that the EPL is the loss leader that persuades people to take out the broadband, phone and tv deal package. Whoever holds the EPL rights will be the market leader in the broadband, tv and phone markets....and that's the worth of theEPL
