Green should consult the fans

Green will only consult himself and his investors, they are in it for profit, and don't care about the polititcs, etc.

He won't get financial backing if there is no return for his investors, they will go where they make the most money.

Good sentiment but alas very few season ticket holders at present........but yes season book holders and would add to that registered supporters clubs.

Somebody call his carer, he's forgotten to take his medication and gone gibberish.

He's making sense!

Spot on.

If he really wants to find favour with the fans he should find out what they really want and implement it.

I think he'll find most folk now want SPL with no further sanctions or div3.

Since it looks like they are hellbent on giving us more sanctions, then it has to be div3.

Who'd ever have thought bears would actually want us to go to div3 ? It's a funny old world.

But I'd rather be there watching the SPL suffer too, than see the club shackled in such a manner we can't win or earn anything yet still give those bastards our money.

It's really simple. If they want our money let us in without further sanctions.

If not, boot us into div3 and take what comes, no doubt blaming us for that anaw and inventing a new rule against causing other clubs to go bust

Preferably we just exercise the nuclear option ourselves and opt for div3 thereby making them beg us to come back.

Green will have us wherever he can make the most out of us. If there's more to be made in the SPL with ridiculous sanctions then that's where we'll be. I don't really think he gives a flying fuck about the fans or the club he's only here to make as much as he can out of this mess.

Whether HMRC were ever going to accept the CVA or not for him to come out and shout about the list of signing targets he had while it was still to be considered ???? Madness

Has the McCol/Park consortium stated their preference on this matter???

As much as we might not like it, no owner (or manager) is going to want to go to Division 3.

Less money, less sponsorship, lower crowds, having to sell all the players, buy a full new team, renegotiate contracts, etc, etc. Not a chance anyone wants that, except some fans.

Are you saying we don't deserve to be their at the present time ?

I'm saying we should take the proper procedures to get back to the top no hand outs we don't need them also why the hell would we want to be in the SPL when the current board in charge is going to cripple us so they can receive there precious sky money yet make us noncompetitive.

I would say season ticket holders only - its them who put their money up front (in the absence of shareholders)

This is exactly correct. Green is in this to make money, NO OTHER REASON. Green said he'd hang around for about a year before selling up and moving on. So far Green's consortium have only put in £5.5m and that was to buy the assets. I doubt that consotium will put in any more money. From here on in the fans will be asked to give a fortune in season ticket sales, share issues, merchandising, then they'll sell the cub for £20m (a figure one of the consortium has already mentioned) and walk away with their pockets full of fans cash. Green's reward for fronting this consortium wil be £2m worth of shares so he will profit, and continue to profit from Rangers until the day he dies.

Rangers are worth more to Green in the SPL as he can charge more for season tickets and shares. If Rangers were in the 3rd Division he couldn't be justified in askng for so much. An SPL football club is also worth more than a 3rd Division one and so are the assets (players)

If Green is allowed to put Rangers back in the SPL now at the cost of the SFA tearing up our history he'll do it because it's in the best interests of him and his consortium. Green is not a Rangers fan, he doesn't care about our history, he is in this to turn a profit. Morality, dignity, and what the fans want don't even enter in to it. The only thing that matters to the man with the keys to Ibrox is money and he'll steer us in that direction to his own benefit, not ours.

I wish I was 'in the know' as well.

A straight forward ballot of season ticket holders

Would you prefer

A - SPL with punitive sanctions

B - Division 3 and start with a clean slate

very good shout.Thats what Rangers and Green should be doing and while he is at it get the feedback of what the fans think of the media, the corrupt sfa/spl and our bitter rivals and put all our fans thoughts out there as these cooonts seem to be doing with there constant attacks on us
