I think he would have been able to do something with the younger ones, the problem is there is no one at the club who they can identify with in that department and Ally has been really quiet of late and I am wondering whats going on there.

I think had Walter's group taken over then younger players would be more likely to stay, not sure about if Walter accepted the offer from Green. Still not sure i trust him

I honestly dont know. Im holding on voting for that reason. I think Greens delibretly been trying to switch player registrations without consent. Now some of the players are fighting back and maybe that suits Green so the players take the abuse for wanting to leave and he doesnt have to be seen.trying to offload them. Just my theory.

I also think that the players who have 3 or 4 years of earning potential left at a decent level then you cant blame them for leaving but the younger ones have the opportunity here to go down in the clubs history as being true Rangers men that followed the Bill Struth philosophy, but different times and morals and of course scabby agents.

No,Walter would not have stopped any possible exodus of players and especially not of young players. Players are fuelled by money and ambition and the likely future for the next few years will hold neither of these.

Smith on board at the minute would have a calming influence on all the mayhem, i'm surprised he never took the gig short term fo that very reason, the place is unraveling before our eyes and the one man that could have helped never, sorry Wattie that was a bad call.
