rickman69 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Many are wondering why Charles Green is not releasing a statement rubbishing the players statements re the death of our history. Is this why? This is an interview he gave before the CVA announcement.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k0IkDTPQWUDoes he believe this to be true or does he not want to lose face after saying this?

mitre_mouldmaster Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 At the end of the day, the business as a whole was sold to the NewCo including the trading rights and the goodwill. This is what maintains the history of the club.Leeds united used exactly the same method of creating a NewCo, whilst the old co was liquidated, yet retain their history. Its the same story for Rangers.Feel free to try and prove me wrong. You wont though, you will fail,
rickman69 Posted June 25, 2012 Author Posted June 25, 2012 Oh I seeSo I am one of them purely because I hold a different opinion?Very grown up of you all.I see a lot of people asking the question of why Charles Green doesn't rubbish all this loss of history rubbish. The above interview is maybe the reason for it.I tell you what. I wont post again. Happy?

The FA helped Leeds at this point. So it is you who failed my friend. Miserably.
ca11um Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Since when has having a Newco meant that history gets wiped ? Look at Leeds utd similar newco situation and they kept their history Why shouldnt rangers ?

The OldCo was liquidated, a NewCo was formed and they kept their history.Yea, I see how this proves your point perfectly! haha
Potdog Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Mate the reason people are calling you a taig is because you posted a shit thread like 2 mins ago then made a new one on the same thing and still you're spouting shite....

Potdog Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Guy who made that video look at his name? do you not think it's going to be put so it puts rangers in a bad light.

Blue Legend Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Leeds are the same club because the hold the same registration with the FA as the old club. This means that footballing paper shufflers see the club continuing regardless of the company. We need to get organised to ensure The Rangers continue holding the same registration with the SFA as the old co. As of yet The Rangers are not registered with the SFA

This is what maintains the history of the club.Leeds united used exactly the same method of creating a NewCo, whilst the old co was liquidated, yet retain their history. Its the same story for Rangers.Timmy should also take note that Middlesbrough were liquidated in 1986 then formed a newco and are still the same club they were after being formed in 1876.1986- Middlesbrough liquidated and playing in the 3rd level of English football...20 years later...Middlesbrough played in the uefa cup final and the EPL.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/middlesbrough/4978578.stmMiddlesbrough even have 1876 on thier club badge not 1986....
mitre_mouldmaster Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Rickman,For a start I dont care what religion you are, but I seriously doubt you are a Rangers fan.Anyway, im still waiting on this explination as to why Leeds kept their History yet Rangers do not?Afterall, the they both formed NewCos with their OldCos being liquidated. Yet Leeds retain thier history.Obviously, the history cannot be tied to the league share, as every SPL club that is relegated loses their league share! I dont think you can claim Dunfermline lost their history this year, but who knows, you might.Anyway, if you could give me an explination as to why you think this is the case then I would be interested to hear. I will laugh at you, but it will be an interesting read.
Edmiston Drive Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I am a Catholic yes. I am a Rangers fan yes.You do know there are many Rangers fans that practice the Catholic faith dont you? There are also many Rangers fans who could not give a monkeys about religion. Please do not leave out the roman , as that makes all the difference and you have never answered my father.........dad or is it .......dad........father. Plus you never confirmed my point as to the thought that the team from the east end are as said by billy mcbingo(you know they one that had a daughter lifted for stealing) that they are an irish team who happen to play their football in Scotland................as to should they have changed their name after the sexual abuse of those young players, as bravely outlined by the ex player Alan Brazil........so would you rather be associated with that or the fact a Ltd Co. stopped trading.I await your reply to the above my son of the rosary.

The FA helped Leeds at this point. So it is you who failed my friend. Miserably. In case you really are hear looking for answers, Leeds aren't the only one, Middlesbrough changed to a newco, and someone from their club has also came out rubbishing the drivel about us losing our history. We also did it in 1899, but does anyone believe that that was when our history dates back to?And ask yourself this, why are we being told we have a case to answer to about dual contracts when the SPL meet on the 4th of July? Surely if we had lost all our history the dual contracts would also be consigned to history?
