tombomb Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Do a home and away tie generate much needed income?they have been one of the only clubs kind to us and im sure our support should help them out in some sort of way while benefiting ourself in the process? Quote
Ricky_ Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 We should invite Pompey up here.i'd like that, the modest number they cram into Fratton park probably creates twice as many decibels than you get inside a packed Old Trafford (full of tourists).battle of Britain the skint cunts! Quote
Rusty! Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 One each would be pretty cool, and helpful all round. Quote
Gers1690 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 If Pompey go bust, we could take their place in League One Stuff helping them lol Quote
Steakbake Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 A vote was taken at 1 of the early RFFF meetings to play either Pompey or Hamburg as a way of raising funds.I voted for Pompey but Hamburg won and the reason we couldn't fit a game in was because they were involved in a relegation battle! Quote
The Dude Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Until we are granted SFA membership we cant. Quote
test-icicles Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 now they got the CVA are they technically in financial trouble? Especially because they will probably be sold...But i do think if we can fill ibrox for a few friendlies it would generate much needed cash for us to develop especially if we go to div 1 with such reduced revenues Quote
