Have Ulraine and Poland been good hosts for the Euros?

We had all sorts of scare stories before the championships but everyone who has went over says the locals have been very friendly and accomodating.

The whole press hysteria reminds me of when I was at the World Cup in Italy and on the morning of the Sweden game the front page of the Record was all about how a team of headhunting Swedish hooligans were going to cause havoc at the game and needless to say absolutely nothing happened

Only thing was the polish/russian fans givin it laldy first couple of nights.

Ukraine really is a surprising place with a population similar to the big western European countries ... I suppose it's just far enough away to hide its light under a bushel
