scarkev
Ive been coming onto this forum for a few years now as a guest, ever since playing against the RM team down at Toryglen in some pishy Sunday League set-up. I have used this as a resource for information as I'm sick to death of the shit written in the press and the agenda driven by the mhanks at the BBC...impartial my arse. This whole situation is a fuckin nightmare for all of us and instead of helping or sympathizing everyone else seems to want to get their pound of flesh, their all coming out the woodwork now! This whole Sporting Integrity pish is getting on my nerves, not withstanding the fact we still haven't been proved guilty of anything yet, is it really integrity for a team such as Dunfermline who got relegated, won 1 home game all season and offered nothing to the SPL to get reinstated over the team who finished 2nd? If the SFA, the tims, media whoever want to go down the route of referring to us as a newco, no longer Rangers etc then thats fine but you cant have it both ways. They cant laugh at us and say we dont exist on the one hand but then want to punish us as the same old Rangers we have always been on the other...Is that Sporting Integrity???The Naismith thing really was a blow to me as it was to all of us. Fact is I fully expected him to be off this summer and quite fairly too, I wouldn't expect him or any other of our internationals to drop down and play in the 1st/3rd division but what does get me is the way he has went about it. He can lie all he wants about it being a tough decision and not meeting the owners etc but at the end of the day it is pure and simply about money. Had Naismith transferred over to the Newco then he could have done so with a release clause of say 2million (half his value), Rangers would have made a bit of money and he could have walked away with our best wishes and his head held high but instead as a free agent he and his agent can now pocket a hefty signing on fee thereby depriving the club. I expected that shit from a few but not from him. People say its a short career etc but its not like he's 30 looking for one last pay day, he could have done things the right way, still made alot of money and always be welcomed back to Ibrox at any time later in his career.Moving forward I don't really care what league we are in and I'm starting to come round to the idea of starting at the bottom and working our way back to glory as 5/6 years down the line winning that SPL title back would be the best feeling in the world as like always we have succeeded with the rest of Scottish Football doing everything to stop us.WATP!!! elephants stoned
Quite agree, Paysmith as somebody on here just called him, has insulted the inteligence of every Rangers supporter, he has also insulted the club and all the staff who work here by his claims that we are a new club. He should of said nothing if thats the best he can do. Destroyed every good memory i had of him, in 1 fell swoop.
Phil
Welcome I'd agree with that, it's the manner in which certain players have treated us and also the blatant contempt for all things Rangers from the media and other clubs.I say start at the bottom and build ourselves back up to past glories again while watching those around crumble
