I don't undersatnd why the likes of Aluko McCabe Whittikar and Naismith are be slated. I don't understand the Aluko situation as far as I was aware his contract with us had expired a few ago. So how can Green come out and say he going to punish him (and the others) for not transfering?

Haven't heard anyone slagging Aluko - he made sacrifices to join, served us well, and is out of contract - best of luck to him.

McCabe was more disappointing as he's still unproven and would have even benifitted from a lower standard of football for a year or two, plus he's a Gers man (supposedly).

As for the other two, it's not the fact they left but the manner in which they did it. They said some truly disgraceful things about our club and should not be allowed to forget it. They deserve all the flack coming their way.

I dont get the Aluko love in. We took him off the street and gave him a decent team to show how good he was. No one really knows how much he "payed" to play for us, but im sure he wasnt out of pocket come the end of the season. I dont remember a queue of english teams waiting to sign him.

At the very least he owes us first refusal on his sevices. So in lieu of him leaving , fck him.

I would have agreed with you a lot more before the start of the year. Scottish football has been pish for the longest time - and we haven't had the best track record of giving young players a proper chance in the first team. If guys like McCabe had the opportunity to go and get a decent education with playing time too (take note, Danny Wilson), with money coming to Rangers to invest in the future, fair play.

But now? The likes of Ness and McCabe must realise that they have the chance to stick with the club during the worst of times, be at the heart of the team, and still be young after the years it takes for us to be competitive again. Wherever we play, the attention and focus will be the same, if not greater. Sticking with us now can make you legends forever.

The other two deserve every bit of the shit they're getting for that disgusting, self-serving press conference they gave.
