Gartcosh Bear Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I would say that they should feel ashamed.....but they won't.If you've got the best interests of Rangers at heart, stay. If you've only got the best interests of yourself at heart, leave. Quote

tartansmokie Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 All of these players had the chance to go on and become legends within the club by taking us back to the top where we belong. Those that are leaving have shown that they are not worthy of a place in our history. Money grabbing mercenaries. What goes around comes around, we shall have the last laugh Quote
Madina Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Dont think I will be able to watch my 3IAR DVD ever again. I will feel a mixture of anger and disapointment. It might be bad of me to say but I hope the lot of them struggle at their new clubs. Make them realise how good they had it here. Shower of shite Quote
rfc_no1fan Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 The players made the ultimate sacrafice last year by taking huge wage cuts. They tried to save the old Rangers, something that will always be remembered. Not one of those players are responsbile for the mess we find ourselves in at the moment. You are asking our players to sign a contract that ties them into a newco that doesnt even have a SFA licence, nor does it have a league to play in. At the moment "The Rangers" or "servco" isnt even a football club. Its hard to take, but I can understand their decisions. It's not ideal, but we wait and see who we are left with and we move on. No matter what league and what players we have. Quote

As I've said before so many times I went to the games supported them, sang their names, hof their f******* names on our shirts, we made them HEROES and they have fuckex us over more than even our worst enemies could, heartbreaking Quote
Davie2909 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I would have respect for them if they had transfered over to the newco them asked to leave at least we would get a fee that way but i will never forgive them for the way they have all deserted us in our hour of need! Quote

pcbear Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 The fans are the only constant in this, we are The Rangers men, the lads we thought would be shoulder to shoulder with Ally have slunk into the night, no doubt all texting each other on how brave they have been, bunch of cunts. Quote

MrSifter Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Why is anyone surprised? They are professional footballers. They want as high a wage as possible, playing for as successful a club as possible. Sometimes the former massively outweighs the latter in terms of priorities.Do you think any of those players were at Ibrox out of love? They were there for their £25k per week and nothing else. Paying the likes of Whittaker what we did is part of the reason we're in this mess. Let the players go, they are hired help. No more, no less. I know this board generally takes a pro-Green view but he's either incompetent or he's deliberately trying to finish us off. He is certainly no friend of Rangers. Quote
