MrSifter
In tonight's Evening Times Cully made an interesting point. Don't laugh at the back. As Celtic's pet in the media he gives us a window into their snake pit. Celtic's corporate hospitality for games against Rangers attract a premium so they lose a lot more than just our 8,000 fans paying circa £40 each twice per season. That'll be true of all clubs where corporate hospitality is concerned. That's another battering to incomes. This has gotten badly out of control for all of them I do believe. They were too busy feasting on our blood to realise we were the last non-vampire to eat.
don logan
It's descended into unbridled chaos. The diddy clubs have banked on taking a step back to go two forward by changing the SPL constitution to grab a larger expense of the pie at the expense of us and the Tims. They are attempting to placate the First Division by mooting a league extension a few years down the line. The First Division clubs now realise they are part of the whole conspiracy and have joined the brinksmanship to up their immediate share. The diddy clubs must now bend or face up to their initial calculations on the short term loss as being exceptionally short. They have nailed their colours to the mass regarding the "sporting integrity" so cannot be seen to u turn or they will face the wrath of their own fans.Meanwhile it's now just dawning on the Tims that they are exposed and are seen as a big fat cow by the diddy teams that will be milked until its legs buckle. So they send out O Rourke, the toothless attack mutt, to threaten boycotts to all and sundry. And on and on and on.............
OlegKuznetsov
Crespo? As for the corporate hospitality, it's not one that was ever really considered. In tight times, if you're losing half the attraction of your business having a box for a season, you may well think it's not worth paying more than half the original price. We'll see how the can of worms unravels in good time.If one club goes bust mid season, the game's a bogey for them.Like lemmings marching blindly to their own death.
