***The Official Brechin City v Rangers Thread***

Recommended Posts

Thought Brechin took their goal well. Bad defending but fair play to the lad for taking his chance.

We are looking a bit rusty but lack of a proper pre season will do that. Hopefully the goal will wake our players up and the second half will be better.

It is good to see us playing football again :beer1:

players summary

Alexander - Should have done better for the goal not much to do other than that

Broadfoot - Got forward well and can't blame him for the goal

Goian - Terrible for the goal not had anything to do other than that

Bocanegra - Not had anything to do

Wallace - A little to sloppy in possesion

McLeod - Looks nervous didn't see him much but he is only 17/18 we need to give Youth the chance to develop without getting on their backs

Hutton - Solid can't remember him losing the ball

Black - Dire start gave the ball away more times than I can remember but grew into it later on

Little - Took his goal well hasn't done much else

McCulloch - Not the best preformance is losing the air battle

McKay - Doing relativley well has a good touch and a decent shot but he needs to use his pace more though but again like McLeod considering he is 17/18 he is doing very well

We need to stop booting the ball up FFS the pitch is brilliant and McCulloch is losing the ariel battle we need to get Little and McKay on the ball and tell them to run at them a bit more.

Needs massive improvement.

Not been too impressed with the young boys seem tiny and would be brushed away in the 3rd division.

Broadfoot and Wallace been immense.

And yes Super is not above criticism, seem to be back where we started with him tactically. This team should be passing rings round which is ultimately a village team.

We look very rusty which is understandable. Big goian being pushed off the ball for their goal was shocking. Would expect Alexander to do better with that shot though. Ver poor goal to use. Different competition, same mistakes from rangers, always make it hard for ourselves
