McCoist might not be up to this job

What about when the forwards put our back line under pressure? Or should we just play triangles and head tennis til they get bored and tired then score 5 goals?

Sorry for the attitude. Just frustrated with the consensus about this topic.

Well why don't we take the easy pass, try to advance with the ball with possession?

But no, it appears that a long ball to literally no-one is the better choice.

Frustrated? I'm with you, but by christ I'm not going to sit here and blame everyone but Ally.

You are certainly not alone in your opinion.

It's gathering more weight after each away game.

This may sound crazy but we were not great against East Stirling last week at home either despite the score and i noticed many fans around me aiming abuse at the manager and players. The warnings have been there for some time.

I'd tell Alexander to find a pass instead of lumping it to no-one to start with...

It would be nice to start from the back, move the ball around and keep possession. Swansea scored a goal yesterday which started from the keeper and went right through their whole team until it found a striker. Right across the back 4, to a midfielder, to another one and another, onto a winger and into the goalscorer, it was sublime. I must admit i am getting sick of seeing our goalkeeper and defenders lumping that ball up to no-one.

Agree with giving him time, but your talk about the pre season is utter nonsense. Did Berwick have a pre season tour? No. So you can stroke that pish excuse off the list.

Yes players need games in order to gel and work as a team instead of individuals. But even as individuals, the players should be putting in better performances than today's one. We train full time, the players have the opportunity then to gel and come together, as well as competitive matches.

Did Berwick build a new team virtually from scratch? Were not even a team at the moment, we're a collection of strangers thrown into circumstances none of them have experienced before. I don't know what it is people expect? If you stand back and look at it objectively it's a wonder we haven't lost yet.

Yes, yes they do. We aren't the first team to experience significant teething problems after building a new team.

I've been to every game but today and Peterhead. Does that make my opinion of today more or less valid? Help me out, I'm confused.

When you have a collection of strangers, deprived of a pre-season and any chance to work on team cohesion and throw them into circumstances way beyond any of their experience then I'm afraid consistency is going to be hard to achieve. I really don't know what the Hell you expect?

As for Ally, he has been manager of a settled team for 6 months during his tenure. We were playing great football at the start of last season and we were streets ahead in the League. Then the rug gets removed from under his feet as his best player is sold to Everton and his 2nd best player picks up a long term injury.....and that's all before Administration when he really was working with two hands tied behind his back. Give the man some time, he deserves at least that.

This^^^^^^^^ 100%

Tell you what the worst thing is.....

Five minutes to go, we're defending a corner with eleven players in our box. No-one sitting on the halfway line for a counter, no-one sitting in the middle of the park for a header out.

Every single player - including those shorter than 5'6 - in the penalty box to defend.

Ally...you're not Walter Smith, please try and be your own man.

As is said earlier, is this instructions from McCoist or are the players just doing what they want. At the end of the day if the team aint preforming the buck stop with the management.

That's the difference. I'm not blaming anyone. It was a bad performance and a bad result. You're only as good as your next game. So focusing on the falkirk cup game would be my tactics for this week

They seem perfectly fine at home, but away from Ibrox is a different matter.

But no worry, deflect the blame from McCoist. Don't want to upset anything (tu)

If you were at the East Stirling match mate you will know at home we are not fine either and that was with a 5-1 win. That wee team just caved in.

We are the first team I know of to struggle so much against part time footballers who only train twice a week.

This is not SPL teams we are facing, it's guys who have actual jobs and play football as a hobby. We have SPL quality players and some internatonal players who should be playing better football.

We can use pre season, time to gel, the ball, the park ect as an excuse as much as we want but the warnings in regards to our away perfromances has been here for a very long time.

If McCoist is telling them to pass about, the players deserve the sack as they're not following his lead.

If McCoist is telling them to play it long at all times - then the guy simply deserves the boot. We are literally embarrassing to watch away from home.

I'm not getting paid £6000-£10000 a week to give you an answer.

Ally is, and away from home, he simply isn't good enough to provide it.

But,surely, the way you are mouthing off you must have an idea as how to solve our problems?

Again, who are the players that Ally is leaving out that you think would improve us?We are chock full of journeymen and youngsters.

We must bring in,at least, 4 players this week but,Im afraid they will be of the same quality.

I was there mate.

Beating a team that was just off the night-shift isn't a flagpole for me, we were still depressingly poor for a lot of it.
