The though of Ally (if he does) coming on here today and seeing nothing but thread titles questioning his position makes me sick.

So I though there should be something positive on here to re-address the balance. Just remember there was fans doubting his ability in his first season at Rangers as a player also.

Then things like this started to become the norm

Anyone who watched that game yesterday realises our tactics were wrong. Not all ally's fault, players are obviously to blame aswell. No need to call me a "chunt" everyone is entitled to an opinion. Blind faith gets you nowhere

Tbh I'm not one of the ones screaming for his head or anything, I'm just trying to say I understand the criticism, and to be honest we probably should have lost both games. I dont know about you but as a rangers supporter I've grown to expect a bit more than a draw with Berwick rangers

As have we all - but we have also surely learned that we can't overreact to a few poor performances at the start of the season - especially after the very real scenario that almost reared it's head where we wouldn't have been playing football at all this season

I will stay loyal to Ally for as long as it takes. I was a regular When he joined and even though the frustration was there, I never once booed the guy. That faith/loyalty paid off.

Back to the question at hand and the 2nd post...... Do you think Ally will understand some of the criticism on here of him??. Or he may be thinking I went through hell to save this club, and these so called supporters want to sack me already?? Don't know?.

I say give the guy a fx#king break.

I think if anything some players need to question themselves, about the level of commitment they are giving.

Of course, people calling for him to be sacked are completely over reacting, but those of us such as myself questioning his tactics have every right to. I understand that the players haven't really had a Pre season but I just hope the players and manager can start playing the football we know they are capable of. And yes, it is great to be playing football after everything that has happened since February, win loose or draw I'm happy to watch rangers play, but no matter the result everyone has an opinion on what went on over the 90 mins

The players are going out there too confident IMO, thinking its just a case of turning up probably. These third division teams like Berwick etc know that they are on tv, all of their family and friends will be watching, and they will be trying as hard as they have ever tried, 11 v 11 at the end of the day and I think our players need to realise this

theres nothing wrong with criticism if its constructive, but posting things like "sack him" and "hes a shite manager helps" no one, probably no one on here knows what McCoist is really going through just now, hes not daft he knows things are bad. If you post saying you want him sacked then suggest someone else for the job, because I cant think of anyone whos better to be in there just now. McCoist knows if hes not good enough he'll lose his job, if it came to that he'd probably stap aside. But I enough gratitude and respect for Ally that I will have patience and give him time to have a decent go before I start making crass comments against him.
