I just was reading the story about Modric going from Spurs to Real Madrid and this section caugh my eye... ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19389191 )

...........The agreement will see the two clubs working together in respect of players, coaching and commercial relationships. ........

Now I know there were rumours about working with teams in Brazil when Gordon Smith was working at Ibrox (but who knows where that was at ) but if tie ups like that are goodenough for Spurs / Real Madrid it could be something we could also look to do - Chelsea? Bayren Munich ? Barcalona !!!!!!!??? Or even some of the US sides ? It could be a great way of extending markets and getting some cross fertilisation of ideas and experience and expanding our global brand?

Tottenham have assets Real Madrid are clearly interested in [bale, Walker, Lennon?]. Tottenham feel they're getting some exposure and could potentially pick up loan deals for Madrid's most promising youngsters whilst Real Madrid feel they've stolen a march on other large Clubs for players like Bale. These big Clubs don't really have much to gain from us.

it does not have to be barca but I think we have a lot to offer teams from the US, China? India? Russia? especially as we climb back
