  1. 1. Who should we be looking to sign....

    • Scottish players who know how to play in the lower leagues
    • British players who know the style of football but have played at a higher level
    • Anyone who is decent, irrespective of where they come from or their experience of lower league football

Im thinking we need some lower level players who have the lowdown on the teams like Berwick, our lads are struggling to adapt at the moment and a few SFL2 or SFL3 lads might just help right now. I wouldnt rule out any of the options out though as a decent mix of players is the best.

I think it will only take another couple of games before the players wise up to SFL 3. I think we need to look at guys that have played at a higher level and are British. We need players who are prepared to put their bodies on the line.

Young players chomping at the bit to play football who, in 3 years time, could be very well established Rangers players.

Young players are notoriously inconsistent, if a team like Peterhead went on a run we could struggle to catch them...

I would actually be looking to get in some lower league English guys for RB, and Midfield .

Also a Winger with pace.

Need some English dig in the middle with wee Black.

Dean Shiels has the creativity.

But another passing midfielder would be nice, along with a Ball winner.

We also need an impact player like Nacho.

We definetly need wingers and/or midfielders who can play left/right (skacel).

With broaders away and bocanegra likely to go we probably need another defender and full back cover.

Other than that pace is something we really lack so any quick players would be a bonus. Hopefully though more youngsters get a chance. I hope after the deadline we keep looking for youth players with potential as if I'm right we can still sign u18's despite the ban.

We've badly missed Aluko since he left and need some wide players imho.

As for who we sign can't think of any outstanding cheap players in our price range but hopefully we've been scouting the English lower leagues for some good young players who would be willing to come up Scotland for a few years to enhance their reputations and then be moved on for a profit.

We could also be doing with a Marvin andrews style CB for away games in the sfl, minimum we need at least 6 players as no doubt 3 or 4 are going to move out in the next few days.

I agree and thinking about it some more it would be strange to go from signing full internationals to current part timers, i hope our lads do wise up to lower league football soon though.

I'm starting to get anoyed with all this ''it'll take a while for us to adapt to Division 3 teams'' pish. Fuk em' let them adapt to us (tu)

No matter who comes in whether they be Scottish, Brazilian, illiterate, old, young, big, small or as ugly as sin, if we teach and encourage the right things the part-time teams won't get close to us (tu)

I expect a bedding in period and the right calibre of players will help (tu) Will it'll take time, sure it will. but this is the approach we should be taking and I can't say with 100 % confidence that we are taking it.

I hope I'm wrong for Ally's sake (tu)
