I hear St Mirren are in for him and i hear he would jump at the chance of joining the Paisley giants.

Well, he did used to be their captain.

Wish him all the best for the future. A great Rangers man and had the heart to stay for the fight. Unfortunately for him and us, he aint a footballer.

So with Broadfoot being released that means we won't get anything for him. So people saying at least he stayed and transferred over thats still not going to get us any money for him.

The reason he transferred over was because no one was in for him and he was Guaranteed 10 k a week and a game every week.

But now there must be a club in for him and thats another player going for nothing.

Lets be honest though, who would actually pay a transfer fee to get him? But I agree, if his intention from the start was to leave he should have made that clear from the very beginning. At least he is finally off the wage bill.

Wait a minute here...£10k a week? I very much doubt that. Id say nearer 4k per week. Unless someone can prove me wrong- if they can I'll hold my hands up but if that is the case, the bigger picture here is this- who the hell is scouting these players and who is negotiating their salaries. I might go for a job in the pie stall..good chance I'll get £3k for that. :sherlock:

Will always hold Captain Kirk in high esteem. give his all and could have walked out with the rest of turncoats. He helped Rangers out by staying the short length of time to allow McCoist to get more bodies in. In my heart of hearts, i know he would have stayed if he knew the manager was going to play him every week.

Thanks for the memories Kirk regardless if some of them were bad.

A great Ranger !
