simplythebest 11,453
RANGERS have made a move for German midfielder Michael Fink. The 30-year-old has arrived at Murray Park in a bid to seal a deal before the close of the transfer window. The German is a free agent after he left Turkish side Samsunspor at the end of last season. However, Carlos Bocanegra and Kirk Broadfoot could both quit Ibrox before the end of the week.Fink kicked off his career with VfB Stuttgart before he moved on to Arminia Bielefeld and Eintracht Frankfurt. He then had a spell at Besiktas and Borussia Monchengladbach before he switched to Samsunspor.Fink has been recommended by one of the club’s investors, and boss Ally McCoist will look at him over the next 48 hours.ìThe German is a free agent after he left Turkish side Samsunspor at the end of last seasonîBirmingham City midfielder Morgaro Gomis remains a loan option, although his current club want all his wages covered, which is believed to be a weekly five-figure sum.McCoist is also keen to bring in a winger. Hearts frontman David Templeton is his top option, but he faces competition from Bristol City for his signature. It is also unlikely that Hearts would sell to Rangers after they were left to wait for their Lee Wallace money when the Ibrox oldco was liquidated.McCoist is also working on a deal for Malmo striker Daniel Larsson. Moves are being made to see if the Swede would be interested in a move to the Scottish Third Division.http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/342407

BlueSuedeSambas 56,337
Templeton won't happen IMO.Call me a cynic, but I suspect it's a name that's been fed to the press to be released as a pick me up for fans after the result at the weekend. BlueSuedeSambas 56,337
Also another trialist here on the recommendation of an investor. How many is that now?Does McCoist have no targets of his own?
ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
Why the fuck are we still going for 30 year olds.

Marky. 7,107
Keep the wheels rolling Ally. Got to get some momentum with these deals and hopefully we'll have a few more decent players.Templeton would be sensational, but let's be honest, it is highly unlikely. ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
You have got to wonder why all these players don't have any clubs? And we're bringing them all here filling our team with utter shite. Very fucking good what happened to the fresh start etc? What the fuck is the point of having youth players? They should be in our 1st team now we're in the 3rd div.
Papa Sasac 164
A centre midfielder, just what we need!
andrewBrock 13
Hang on a wee minute here! I read about this boy Fink on Rangers Rumours so it can't be true
WilliamFyfe 1,438
Surely Hearts would want 500k-£1m for Templeton?
Tiebreak54 151
I would like Templeton, although I think that may be unlikely. Fink is apparently a 30 year old defensive midfielder. That is the only position we are relatively strong in, no more are needed. Spend what wages are available on more pressing areas of concern please. MasterD 7,457
I'd take Templeton but not Gomis or Fink.
BlueSuedeSambas 56,337
Surely Hearts would want 500k-£1m for Templeton? And the rest. He'd probably command at least a 2 million pound fee.
TheDarkStRangers 11
How many times have we been linked to Templeton? It's not going to happen as much as I'd like it to!
beattie72 170
Templeton and Larsson would be class. I think that would signal the end of the long ball which would mean we would win most games Please let this happen
Goianegra 4,710
Surely Hearts would want 500k-£1m for Templeton?About what we're getting for Edu.Not saying it's going to happen, infact the complete opposite. I'd be literally stunned if we pulled it off, but I think we'd have the financial power to fund it if we really wanted.
