Ratings v Falkirk

ORCHARD LOYAL

Recommended Posts

Alexander - 6 Few dodgy moments but was a spectator most of the game

Argy - 7 Very Skilful player. Seems like a good all round footballer similar to Papac. Likes the odd dribble past his opponent. done some really good things last night and then give the ball away. Would like to see him hit the byeline abit more as he tends to cut inside alot. At a first glance, looks like a decent signing

The Crib - 6 Would like to see alot more of him before passing judgement. Very tall and commanding in the air. Not sure if he has great pace or not or was maybe caught out with the speed of the game. Again a decent footballer but will he fancy the cold hard parks in the 3rd Div in Dec / Jan.

Boca - 6 A better game last night but silly mistakes still makes me think that this whole thinghas been a culture shock for him. His head is elsewhere. Too Many long punts up the park annoy the life out of me.

Wallace - 7 Showed great pace on a number of occasion to cover for the rest of the defence. Easing his way back to fitness and will be invaluble with his trademark runs to the byeline. Sacrificed alot to be at Ibrox and I for one appreciate his commitment to the cause.

Faure - 7 Decent debut, give the ball away a few times which could be down to nervouness on his Ibrox bow. Commanding in the midfield. Adds a wee bit of bite, like a tackle and has a good shot on him. Should be a good signing. Seems like a confident boy even trying the overhead kick.

Black - 8 Quality operator when he get the ball on the grass and plays. Covers the whole park bombing into tackles. We err of cockiness about him which I like. Wont give opponents a minutes peace with his tigerish displays. Needs to resit playing balls over the top on too many occasions which he was guilty of at Berwick

Mcleod - 6 Missing for large chunks of the first half but put it a stirling performance in the last 20 mins of the game when Rangers were on top. Good in the tackle and displays a good range of passing

Little - 7 showed great pace for the goal outsripping his markers by a mile and displayed really good composure to lift the ball over the advancing keeper. Turned sinner later with a few glaring misses but gets into real strikers positions which is pleasing

Shiels - 7 intelligent player who played well in hole behind the striker. Great pass for Little's goal. Links the play well and got into a couple of good goal scoring postions

Jig - 8 holds the ball up superbly well, brings his team mates into play with intelligent lay offs. Great in the air. Has good accuracy in his shooting and up front by far his best postion. If he had pace would not be at Ibrox but then again jig being jig he mite be. Fast tracked to a Rangers all time legend in the last 6 months

Kyle - 4 Done nothing wrong but needs to lose 2 stone. Looks out of place in a Rangers Jersey that barely covers his bulging gut

McKay - 6 Very Exciting prospect. Tricks and flicks and can beat a man with ease. Hope he is allowed to develop at

Rangers

McCoist - 8 Got his tatics right and had his troops well motivated for the tasks. Nice fast flowing football.

Emilson a 6 I must have been watching a different game he looks brutal but I will give him time!

I agree with you; looks lacking in pace and control, does the simple pass well but does not look at all comfortable when receiving the ball.Thought Black and McLeod were immense, fantastic to have proper footballers in midfield who like to pass the ball forwards, which is something we have missed for years.
