living in Edinburgh, i know a lot of Hearts fans. with all the abuse iv took over the last 6 months, its so good to be able to dish it out again. they are absolutely fuming  can't handle the fact that we didn't die and are still the biggest club in the country! i think its safe to say im going to enjoy the next few weeks or so :21:

by the way, to any lurking Jambos or Timbos, i have a question...

Bitter Jambos

Club must always come first

01.09.2012

Hearts today reasserted the strategy for the club in light of the close of the transfer window in which the club secured one of its most promising young players while moving closer to securing another of its key Academy graduates.

Business was also concluded which saw one senior squad player depart and one return.

A club spokesperson said: "We appreciate the supporters' sad feelings at the departure of one of our top players. We would like to bring some light into the situation to show it was a clear and reasonable decision by Hearts.

"We need to admit we are not completely satisfied with the offer but it was the best available offer and other clubs were just waiting to get Templeton for free in January.

"We had lengthy negotiations and Rangers improved their offer several times until finally we agreed terms. Templeton was desperate to leave Hearts for any club offering big money and his contract was running out in May 2013.

"We did not want to sell him but there was no reason to keep him as his mind and heart was not with Hearts and in January he could sign a pre-contract and walk for free in summer.

"Rangers were the only club where this option was not available due to a transfer ban, so they offered money for Templeton. All other clubs were sitting in the bushes to take him free in January.

"The club put a huge amount of effort into keeping Templeton at Tynecastle, spending many months trying to find an agreement. Twelve months of discussions and negotiations since the start of 2011-12 season did not help. He has rejected every one of our offers completely, regardless of terms.

"After last January he switched off completely after the club rejected a laughable offer from a minor Championship club. Paulo Sergio had many issues with the player's attitude and did not include him for Scottish Cup Final squad for the lack of focus and determination.

"We believe the decision of the club was right in the circumstance and has brought money to the club where Templeton was a big risk to keep in both football and financial terms.

"Ryan McGowan's story is different. The player has declared he wants to stay at Hearts. We praise his decision. We hope he will show his commitment by putting pen to paper to sign a new deal with the club in the next couple of days in evidence of his declarations.

"Callum Paterson is the example of commitment and a true Jambo. Despite active interest from Rangers, the boy immediately committed to a new deal the club offered him in an effort to keep best young talent at the club.

"Hearts always seeks to keep good players at the club and make business only when the terms are for the benefit of the club and a good replacement is available. This is not always possible due to activities of greedy agents and circumstances as above. We remain focused to keeping our best players at the club.

"But we will never compromise and risk keeping someone not interested in the future of the club and seeking just money as their only motivator.

"Our aim is to have a squad of players who are strongly committed to the club and fight for the jersey and for the supporters in the stands. Only such a team can bring success and enjoyment to the people."

I was having a text off on Thursday with my best mate who now lives in Ireland. He was noising me up about them playing in Europe while we're in div 3.

At one point I noted that we've bought a few of their players and got 'not the ones that are playing gallantly in Europe you haven't '

Guess who got a phone call first thing this morning? Cunt was beeling and hung straight up on me when I gleefully told him the news.

Praise his decision?

They were furiously trying to punt him less than one day ago.

Have to love the diddy feeder clubs ability to say one thing and mean another (tu)

What should I say, was thinking of putting "Cheers for Templeton, very generous of you to be our feeder club"

Just text him... You're welcome.

If he responds with what you talking about etc.

Say the money you're getting off us, should keep your club afloat till January. (tu)

How many times do you think Ryan McGowan has questioned his decision not to join Rangers? I have nothing against him, in fact he has made a very difficult decision in what would have been a pressurised timescale. I may be biaised (and probably am) but you do not get many chances, if any, to join a club the size of Rangers - regardless of the league we currently find ourselves. He may just regret it!!

I had a wee swatch at one of their shitty forums earlier "kickback" or some crap it was called. I can confirm that they are indeed an extremely bitter, demented lot. Many of them stating a professing a new found preference for Paedo fc over the Queens 11. Some even having the temerity to suggest Golum (aka Popcorn teeth) behaves with more dignity than Super... Deluded in the extreme!!

During the time of the vote for us to stay in th SPL we swore to get back at those who sought to kick us whilst we were down...

Well taking Templeton is part of the payback

One each against Berwick, loads of negative press and he still signs for us...

Ha fucking ha..
