Elgin City - A Lowdown

Since it's not very likely you'll know too much about our wee team, here's a low down on Moray's finest.

First things first, we hate Caley and 90% of our songs tomorrow will tell you as much.

Key players:

Craig Gunn (Striker): Lightning fast striker who has 46 goals in 91 league starts

Daniel Moore (Midfielder): Best left foot in the 3rd division bar none. Accounted for over half of our assists last season

Mark Nicolson (All rounder): Elgin through and through and can and will play anywhere on the park, can see him playing a Defensive Midfield role tomorrow

Dennis Wyness (Striker): I'm sure this one will be familiar to most of you, has been pulling the strings for us this season

Brian Cameron (Winger): Just as fast as Gunn, with a lot more skill. Causes fullbacks all sort of problems for fun week in/week out

John Gibson (Goalkeeper): On loan from Dundee, excellent keeper who's far too good for this level.

We Hate Caley

Our fans won't sell out our allocation, not by a long way, but we will more than make up for it with our passion and noise

Ian Black - This guy will get a large amount of abuse from us tomorrow, but please don't confuse this with having anything to do with him being a Rangers player as it doesn't. It has everything to do with him playing over 100 times for Caley and I'm not sure if I've mentioned this, but we don't like Caley very much.

Looking forward to this very much, Come on Elgin!

Surprise you are only in SFL 3 if your players are as good as you say suspect you are blowing smoke up our arses

I'm not saying we'll beat Rangers, I actually think we'll lose by 3 or 4, I'm just giving Rangers fans some background on our best players since we'll be an unknown quantity to many of you! We were in the playoffs last season and are currently unbeaten this season, so I don't think it's an exaggeration to say we are one of the better teams down here.

Does WVB not just hate every team that isn't The Rangers.

:mutley:

This quote is from the Elgin Chairman thread.

As an Inverness lad, I've never liked Elgin, and will probably spend much of the drive down the A9 with my hand out the window, making childish hand gestures to the cunts.

Same again on the way home.
