Rangers can sign players in Jan 2013 & play them Sept 2013?

Is that right in saying?

Example; We can sign Larsson from Malmo say in Jan 2013 but can't register him to play until Sept 2013 (1 year from now).

So could we not technically loan the player back out till Sept 2013?

If I'm wrong shoot me down and delete thread

Your not wrong we could do this. This is just how stupid the embargo is. We can actually sign anyone but let them stay at there clubs until september 2013. It's just like signing them on a pre contract.

This is a very interesting one actually. As far as im aware the SFA have no permission or right whatsoever to stop us paying money or paying wages of any player in the world. They do however have permission to stop that player playing in the Scottish leagues as they are the governing body and can refuse to register a player. It is a registration embargo and i reckon this is a legal loophole. (tu)

The transfer windows doesn't shut till the midnight on the 2nd next year

Our embargo ends on he 1st.

Have the SFA made a cunt of that?

Scottish FA tweet

@Scottish_FA: @allygowans Window closes on 31st Aug but some speculating it would run till 2nd Sept because 31st is Sat, this is not the case.

The SFA came out quite soon after people started on about that transfer window closing over a weekend and stated that the ban was to cover 2 whole windows.

not sure about the loan out idea,,, but for foreign players dont the SFA need to approve international clearance first?

But it usually would be the case, they're doing that because they've made a cunt if it.

Maybe I'm a wee bit out of date with this but don't the lower divisions in England just ignore the transfer window ?

If this is still the case why should we bother about it either what's uefa going to do ban us ?

What?

ame time.[24] In England, clubs from the Football League Championship to the Football Conference can loan in players from 8 September to 25 November and also from 8 February until 24 March.[28] An existing loan deal can be made permanent at any time outside the transfer window.[citation needed]

from wiki

I was a wee bit mixed up it looks as if it's just loans !
