Faure 4 - Very poor, very sloppy passing and I have to wonder why Ally insists on playing Argyriou out of position at right midfield whilst Barrie McKay sits on the bench. Should have been subbed instead of Argyriou.

Perry 6 - No real mistakes from Ross, but nothing to really talk about either.

Cribari 6 - Looked OK, dealt with pretty much everything that came his way, which is positive. Some of his long balls do nothing to help the team going forward, but distribution was solid enough other than that.

Wallace 8 - Worked hard from box to box, spent most of his game in the opposition half and spared Faure's blushes midway through the second half with a lung busting run back and last ditch challenge.

Argyriou 6 - Found himself in a lot of space on the right flank, but unfortunately his team mates weren't finding him. Should really have tested the Albion 'keeper late in the first half.

MacLeod 7 - Played a deeper role today and did his best to find the wide men in space. Some of the cross field balls are a joy to watch.

Black 6 - Was once again a target for some terrible challenges from the opposition, did well to not react to any. Was more involved going forward but struggled to tee up the front men in an often crowded final third.

Aird 7 - Again looked very lively, especially in the first half. Did his best to use his pace to the teams advantage, but his final balls weren't as good as they could have been when he did reach the byline.

Shiels 5 - Really struggled to get the ball down and show his far superior skill at this level. Should have had a penalty in the second half.

McCulloch 6 - Was the target for the ever depressing long ball game that McCoist employs too much. Had a tough physical battle with the Albion defenders but often lacked support when he held the ball up well.

McKay 6 - Bright when he came on, but had to come infield to get involved in the game. Close to equalising in the final quarter.

Kyle 4 - Had two decent chances to level the scores late on, which he squandered and was generally very poor in the air.

Naismith 5 - No chance to make an impression on the game with only 6 minutes to go.

RangersMedia man of the match: Lee Wallace.
