simplythebest 11,453
Well vast majority of us have been pushing for Hutton to get a chance (including myself), he got one today and have to say I thought he was poor, didn't take the chance at all. Can't see him playing next week. Edmiston Drive 3,846
Hutton offers much much more than Black, he allows the ball to ran forward , unlike Black has to stop and 11 out of 10 times (yip) he passes it back.....Hutton is strong and yeah was caught a few times but made runs and looked for the man on as in forward.Black has not had one good game for us since he signed. skinnymate1690 811
he wasn't great but he wasn't the worst on the park . i think with more games he will get better . McLeod wasn't any better and black was worse IMO

JM1872 3,838
Wasn't anywhere near the worst today.A few mistakes aye but when the whole team is pish it's unfair to single one out over the other. Was surprised Wallace got MotM being honest, didn't think he was at his best. Would have given it to Perry or Cribari being honest.
will2203 847
Biggest surprise of the day when Wallace was called as MOM. I agree Cribari was far better. Commanding in the air - won everything.
El Carpintero 546
The whole midfield was poor today not just Kyle. Well off his game though.

The great thing was, even when the crowd started to get on his back he didn't hide, he was brave enough to still show for and demand the ball. Think in the second half he was more comfortable cos Back was further forward availableto nk up and they weren't falling over each other. elephants stoned 2,994
A bit quiet but thats what you get when a player starts 2 games out of 13 or whatever. I think Black needs a spell on the bench and McKay brought into first team to provide more of an attacking spark right now.
Boab 73
I couldn't disagree more with the OP if I tried. I thought Kyle Hutton was absolutely superb today with his harrying, covering, tackling and he helped enormously!
scarkev 3,540
It certainly wasn't his best game but I though of the 3 midfielders we had today he was the one who contributed most.I know it's now an old fashioned formation but when teams come and try to stifle us I would like us to go 4-4-2, black needs dropped to get his finger out and I would give Hutton a run as part of a 2 as I think that would suit him better with wingers either side! Reformation Bear 6,453
Thought the whole midfield huffed and puffed a bit today, esp in the first half. The dodgy / bad tackles on Black are becoming a matter of routine now, are the instances where referees ignore them. At least there were times today when a player got the ball, turned and started to attack and I'll take that as signs of positive intention to be more determined to impose a threat on the opposition rather than just always passing back or along. Despite this I thought there were more signs of the senior players looking for the ball and looking to take some responsibility. Thought Cribari looked more assured today. Non-existent threat on the RHS though so somethng went wrong in that dept.
nvager 498
Hutton got caught out a couple of times, but Black does not look fully fit.Aird was poor and I would definitely bring back McKay.
bluenose_72 198
Very few players got pass marks today tbh. If we want to dominate the opposition and control games then we need our midfield to be on top of their game and they just weren't today. If Hutton, Black and MacLeod are going to be in the team with each other then it needs to be Black alongside Hutton(or Hutton a bit deeper) and MacLeod playing further forward behind Jig. Today that didn't happen and it was Shiels who was just off the front man and we had absolutely no threat coming from the right. With Little returning and Templeton a couple weeks away, I am hoping we get better balance once everyone is fully fit with our team selections and tactics.AlexanderArgyriou Perry Cribari WallaceBlack MacLeodLittle McKay TempletonMcCullochThat's what I want when everyone is fit. Shiels has been hit and miss so far and I'd like McKay to get a couple games playing centrally.
