paisleyroad 894
we could do with someone like Traynor with a bit of backbone, not bothered in the slightest if he's not a Bear . . . . . . neither was Charles Green
RFC55 107,780
Fucking hell I've enjoyed a lot of his articles but Traynor at Rangers I never thought I'd see the day! What would he offer us? Some media savy?Could this tie in with rumours the DR are struggling big time?
covenanter 158
I believe he has resigned from the Record. The current Record Editor, Allan Rennie is a Yahoo and a Lawwell Lamb to boot.Nuremberg Hugh remains banned from ra Stydome due to a match report he did on a pre-season friendly. Rather than rile and rage against one of his journos being denied the right to ply his trade over a critical match report, Allan Rennie has bent himself over the table and allowed Lawwell to exercise the big wooden one on his arse. Further, last week the Record had the story and pictures on Stokes attending the RIRA fundraiser, Traynor believed it should be front page. Rennie intervened and ran the lead story on Rangers' investors as deliberate interference. The shadow of 'Thugs and Thieves' has NEVER been lifted. Bluepeter9 5,167
while I am sure he will be a big asset to us - it is better if he stays where he is IMHO as from there he has greater sway than 'in-house'

sergio 1,199
If he does leave the BBC, what are the chances of him lifting the lid, (, I am merely guessing that there might be a lid to be lifted, not implying that there is one) on some of the stuff they have been up to lately.
