Peasie 103
Figures for week ending Sunday 2nd December (Scottish Cup weekend) show 291,000 watched Rangers v Elgin City and 124,000 watched Hibs v Hearts. (An improvement of 99,000 on the 25,000 that watched the league match).129,000 watched the midweek league game between Hearts and Celtic. Last season this match (both venues) had 303,000, 242,000 and 205,000 viewers. 183,000 watched the match at Torbett Towers earlier this season. Should be pointed out all these earlier games were weekend games on Sky compared to a midweek game on ESPN.Figures from http://www.barb.co.uk/viewing/weekly-top-10? SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 8,009
what is it you're trying to show here? The fact that the game that was supposed to replace the "Old Firm" game and the game that all the diddy club teams were bigging it up like it was a huge rivalry yet it is still living in the shadow of a 3rd division Rangers game. Also it also proves that Celtic are a smaller club than us we have many more fans watching our games both on TV and in our respective stadiums. Wether it was more watch us or less have started watching them or even that sky have more viewers than ESPN.Us being in the 3rd division is irrelavant. We had more viewers and a higher percentage of people going to our games per seats well before this season

Fact is no matter which it is getting more people are tuning in to watch Rangers. This is consistent throughout the season to date.
