Good article Bill - I didn't know that was one of Desmond's care homes but like you say if anyone with even the remotest connection to Rangers had owned it the mhedia would have had it on the front pages

Have you seen the offer from Celtc about the two free tickets for every ST holder

They are getting desperate

This sounds more interesting indeed - if true.

it's true alright:

http://www.celticfc.net/newsstory?item=3431

and if you don't fancy visiting their official site. The write up is copied below:

AS a special festive thank you to all of our season ticket holders we’d like to offer you the chance to claim TWO complimentary tickets for use by friends or family at either our match at Celtic Park against St Mirren this Saturday, December 15 or the home game against Ross County on Saturday, December 22.

You may want to bring a couple of friends back to Celtic Park or perhaps another member of the family to experience the special matchday atmosphere for the first time – it’s entirely up to you!

This is just our small way of thanking you for continuing to support the club, in this, our 125th anniversary season. To be able to gift a complimentary ticket to someone you know, simply click HERE for terms & conditions, and to download the application form.

I agree Bill that we've got to expose those that are protected in the Scottish media. Especially our infamous neighbours that appear to receive preferential treatment from ALL Scottish media.

With the likes of your blogs, and the appointment of Mr Traynor, perhaps we can expose them for what they are - sleekit powerful, underhanded yaffs that tried and failed to destroy our club.

WATP.

I appreciate the work you do Bill, although your recent piece on Craig Whyte seemed favourable to say the least.

With none of the key questions on Ticketus and PAYE being asked or answered, why such a positive spin?

Very simple. He had answered those questions to others. Why ask the same questions over and over?

The piece we did on CW was to give him his say.

Not adequately in my opinion.

For someone whose decisions nearly took the club to the brink, I would have expected a more robust grilling to at least justify the favourable stance.

I have on good authority that the Scum have employed two gravediggers too dig up bodies in the cemetery behind the Piggery.

Then sit them in the empty Green Seats on match days and return them to their graves later to be used again and again.

And they call us Zombies, cheeky coonts.

2 free tickets for season ticket holders?? If we done that, we would need over a 90,000 seater stadium.

How many season tickets must they have sold?

Exactly mate... The answer is simple.. Not many... Imagine having to give away 2 tickets for every ST. Makes me laugh.

And they are promoting it like it's because of the Christmas season... lol

Fools.

Just read the blog... Like it a lot.

I've always maintained that the 'independent' financial plan that ra shellick enjoy is simple... Dermot's pockets.. and how deep will they go?

When he calls it time, they are in serious trouble.. serious. They have been losing money for years (ok, this year will be an exception).... but if Dermot wants even some of his money back, they are in trouble. (Edit: I'm alluding to the fact that bad publicity for him might make him sell up. The scum aren't exactly 'good guys' with their IRA supporting fanbase).
