The book they will go to any sinister and threatening lengths to impose publicity censorship on.For it is the book which finally lifts the lid on just what sort of a man Jock Stein was. Jock Stein was a womaniser and a degenerate gambler. Facts which the countless Jock Stein biographers, who have produced a raft of books about him, have turned a blind eye to and swept under the carpet in a conspiracy of sinister silence.But when I compare Stein to Scot Symon in my biography of the legendary Rangers manager, GREAT SCOT – THE JAMES SCOTLAND SYMON STORY, I do so honestly and for the first time put the way Jock Stein lived his life, his compulsive gambling and frequent affairs, into the public domain.However, Celtic supporters do not want these truths about their revered manager to be made public to a wider audience.Which is why the Huddleboard went into meltdown on Monday when I revealed I was due to go onto Andy Gray’s Talksport show on Tuesday and talk about why Scot Symon was a better man than Jock Stein.The screeching and hysterical call on the Huddleboard – a haven for the worst sort of Celtic fanatics, zealots and IRA supporters – went out to bombard Talksport with lies and threats in order to make them stifle free speech. Celtic fans are among the world’s greatest believers in censorship.And lo and behold, just two hours before I was due to take to Talksport’s airwaves I got a call from an embarrassed sounding lackey who sheepishly said my appearance had been ‘pulled’ on the orders of his bosses.A coincidence? Aye, right.Well, I’ve got news for the cowards at the English radio station. Talksport ain’t that big a deal on this side of the border. But the internet is. When something on the web goes viral it crosses borders, transcends continents and lifts the lid on just what sort of country Scotland is, so the rest of the world can see.For instance, when police and police lawyer Duncan Campbell, moved to get my blog on the man who is suspected of being behind the HMRC leak to the Rangers Tax Case blog, removed, the law of unintended consequences was simply that those who had copied the original blog used their technical expertise to post links on Facebook and Twitter and around one million people throughout the world read a blog which would normally have had no more than 20,000 readers.Now, thanks to the Huddleboard’s love of censorship and Talksport’s cowardly capitulation, Rangers supporters can take their revenge and they can make the true story of just what sort of man Jock Stein really was, become known to a million men and women throughout the world.They can do with this blog, exactly what they did with the HMRC leaker blog and send it viral, highlighting and disgracing the Soviet style tactics of Celtic supporters and the cowardly capitulation of Talksport. And as he does it he manages to get some good information on what's going on behind the scenes across.
