gogzy 31,195
Voted on the poll, I would love to invest but it has just came at the wrong time of year for me, i will be looking into buying some through next year, obviously through a broker or something.I have 2 kids and a choice between xmas pressies or Rangers shares lol. And i think wifey would leave me if i chose the latter.
Alwaysblue 709
I declared an interest but I do not want £500 worth of shares. Still thinking about £125 from TRS.

better than all the rest 153
The wife offered to buy a share for me for my Christmas after seeing CG on TV last night, but I told her not to, as we both don't get paid until the end of the month. It is a lot of extra money at this time of year. But I would love to buy but don't like the rst idea. There will be another share issue I think. five stars 1,767
Great chance to invest in the club, with all the cash raised going to improve Rangers. If you wait and buy shares from a broker later your money wont be invested in Rangers, it will go to those selling their shares.

five stars 1,767
Would be great if fans invest the 10 million as we would then own 20% of the club. At this time of the year what are the chances?
ca11um 30
How much can you invest ?Edit : doesn't matter I found out - £
TMB 14,167
I have £410 so I'm £90 away from getting a share. I might need to borrow it since I don't get paid until the 20th. If I buy a share I'll be totally skint over the Christmas and New Year period. Not to mention my Car is needing taxed on the 1st/January (which I won't be able to afford). I wish Mr.Green had given us more notice and time. He said this Share Issue wouldn't start until the 17th and he's brought it forward. If he gave us 2-3 weeks to buy instead of just 1 it would have given more time to get the cash together.Basically I can buy a share and be skint over the holidays or I can keep the money pay some bills and have a good time. trueblue68 2,497
35 votes for the RST one ? that surely can't be from just on here. I should just make it and invest on my own thanks. Is this an invest in the RST advert? Why would anyone want to pay £125 quid for someone else to vote on their behalf.
Redwhiteandblue 3,330
A quarter of people are going to buy shares through the RST?
five stars 1,767
You can invest from £125 in the RST, the club will get the money just the same as if you bought the shares directly.

five stars 1,767
I think its better to invest though the RST than not invest. Club will still get the investment.

Club will still get the investment. The way i see it though, the RST are getting all this money from fans what are the guys that are actually on the RST borard putting into this? And their going to use all of our money to get a say on Rangers board what do we get, 1 vote at an AGM?And the shares aren't even in you're name. five stars 1,767
I dont know the details of the RST, im presuming they will buy shares from this issue with the cash going directly to the club. The main difference being you will own a share in a trust instead of owning the shares directly. Club gets the cash either way. Ive bought directly but i think its better to invest though the RST than not invest or wait and buy though a stockbrocker.

Fury 256
I'd suggest anyone still trying to decide whether to go with RST scheme or not gets info in it from here. http://www.buyrangers.org/Some of the stuff about it on forums is a bit misleading. You can also ask them questions direct.
