We all know that FARE are the organisation who put the boot into Rangers and harassed UEFA into punishing the club for chants which were heard at European matches. We all know the links to Celtic via Piarra Powar. We also know that the organisation is supposed to be impartial. If this was the case then FARE would be an organisation worthy of any resources that could be mustered. As revealed by David Leggat on 24th December 2011 in his blog, there is something more sinister about this organisation. In this article I will go into this cosy link between Celtic and FARE in more detail. How do I know the information that I am about to disclose? Because I was one of the Rangers fans who were lettered by Mr Liewell. May I add, that it was a copy & paste job, which dismissed any wrongdoing of the Celtic support, and claimed that Celtic are ‘a club open to all’.

To save me going over old ground, and to refresh your memory, please read Leggo’s blog via this link: http://leggoland2.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/fare-and-piara-powar-found-guilty-after.html

The match in question was the fixture at Tynecastle where Neil Lennon was confronted by a Hearts supporter. There was a poisonous atmosphere that night, which was created from the away support. From the 1st minute the IRAoke was belted out with gusto. Myself and numerous other Rangers supporters, disgusted, took it upon ourselves to forward a song list, with an overview of what the song was about, to various organisations including the SFA, SPL, UEFA and FARE.

I received a letter back from FARE advising that this was outside their remit, as they are only involved with European competitions. It was further commented that they had passed my correspondence to the SFA who should respond in due course. That never happened.

One afternoon, on my return home, I began opening a letter which had been delivered by Royal Mail. You can imagine my wonderment when I saw the Pacific Shelf crest on the paper inside. My first thought? A family member or friend was playing a sick joke! I have received various ‘Secret Santa’ gifts from the Celtic Store as a wind up. I assumed this was something similar.

Alas, the letter was from Mr Liewell. It stated that the Celtic support are very well-behaved, blah, blah, blah.

My amazement turned to rage! I quickly realised that FARE had divulged my private details to an organisation whom I had complained about. Clearly a breach of the Data Protection Act. You can imagine I was fearful of any consequences. You see, I have a young family. I remember what happened to Hugh Dallas, Mike McCurry, Willie Collum, Nacho Novo, DaMarcus Beasley etc when getting on the wrong side of Celtic and their support.

I contacted a few media outlets. A Daily Record journalist contacted me, and wanted to run with the story. They even set up a meeting in a Glasgow City Centre hotel. They were adamant that this could not be done anonymously, however. I had to have my name and a photo in the publication. I would need to have a death wish to go along with that! I therefore politely declined.

I contacted Rangers regarding this, and they were keen for me to do the article. I was advised that the Sunday Mail were going to run with the story a couple of weeks earlier until it was ‘allegedly’ pulled at the last-minute. I wonder why? Could it be the Celtic FC censorship machine at work again??? A member of the Rangers legal team had a chat with me and although he was disappointed he understood my reasons not to go ahead with the article.

It was confirmed to me that no such courtesy was given to Rangers when complaints were made. They were never made aware of the personal details of any complainants. Therefore dispelling any notion that this organisation is impartial.

We are seeing an increasingly tangled web of links to Celtic FC within organisations of power. The Rangers family are going to need to be totally united to overcome these haters. I am delighted to see Charles Green standing up for the club, and the fans jumping on the offended bus to get at our detractors. As long as this is only a temporary measure until these forces of evil know that we will not tolerate it any longer.

I am currently investigating a possible link to the political views of the Celtic Support and a family member of one of the Scottish footballing authorities head Honchos. A link which I believe is not currently in the public domain. Hopefully news on that soon……

I've heard something similar to this about FARE passing on details.

Their response was that because it was not within their remit they passed complaints on to the appropriate person (in your case the scum)

Don't know if this is an appropriate action, they could just have told you to write to the scum youself.

That is a definite breaking of the Data Protection Act. No doubt about that. I would like to hear Fare's response as to how this got into Celtic's hands. Or the SFA, UEFA etc as you cant prove it was Fare.

Did you admit to being a Rangers supporter when you wrote in? I think that those that do make it more of a challenge as it is seen as being bitter against the rivals (not defending it, just how some may see it)

Very interesting post, one thing we shouldn’t forget here and in my mind the most important, there is good money to be made in “alleged racism”, people like Piarra Powar and the rest of the (close relatives or friends) and people employed earn a good living out of this. They need to self-perpetuate themselves or no money and that equals no pay packet at the end of the month, ergo the bandwagon rolls on.

It would be totally ridiculous to say that racism does not exist, however the acronym “FARE” seems wholly inappropriate in this instance as the links this particular organisation has to the East End are glaringly obvious and well documented, which in my opinion puts them in a “conflict of interest” situation and as such they should be challenged at each and every juncture and the validity of information should be vetted to the nth degree, challenged and then re challenged.

We have arrived at this battle late, but the fight begins now, we will win this war over the bigots, the manipulated liberal hanger-on’s with their hidden agendas and the nameless cowards who pleasure themselves with anonymity.

A blue dawn is just around the corner and like the song says “I’m dealing with a memory that never forgets” and we won’t, because WATP

You shouldn't be contacting Rangers on this, you should go see a lawyer and maybe contact the police. I imagine the boys over at VanguardBears would be interested in this as well mate.

Think it was Nacho the Legend on the that the same thing happened to he hasn't updated for a while though.

Yes mate it was me who contacted the English office of the ICO who wrote to FARE and warned them of the Data Protection breach.

Slap on the wrist and all that.

Tje fact is when I sent in the complaint I happened to mention I was an HM Forces veteran .

I also complained to ofcom , but the ICO did state it was FARE who breached the data prot act.

FARE also passed my data to the beasts in the east .

So if the OP would like to pm me we could gather some info together with regards the Topic in this post.

I would be more than happy to assist .

There was a tjread about FARE and the info i recieved on the forum.

That latest info I recieved was away last Year before we went in to admin mate.

We had bigger Battles at that time remember, but if these shysters ever try come after Rangers again I am sure we can regurgetate this case and hold it against them under victimisation and conflict of interest.

I dont think they will try it on with Rangers again, but you never know.

Just have to wait until we get back in to Europe to see.

I have kept all corrospondance from them the filth , ofcom and ICO.

As I said mate its on the thread in this forum so its out there.

As I say if they come after us we can go after them too.
