OlegKuznetsov 10,816
I'm sure you'll enjoy this if you can bear the poor quality of the images of the text. The language is a tad arcane but it's certainly a very literate piece, full of humour and observations of our earliest years.Absolutely cracking stuff!http://www.thegallan...lue-Page-1.htmlHere's page one, as a sampler, but I do urge you to visit the site and feed your hunger for all things Rangers. Redwhiteandblue 3,330
According to that article, we first wore blue in our second ever match against Clyde. So that white strip we regularly see as wearing in our early years, was only in fact worn for 1 match?Cheers for posting. To my mind, it can only bring us all closer together, whilst emphasising our ongoing history.
Gaz92 966
Love reading this sort of stuff.Such a rich, vast history that we have, it's great getting right back to the roots.
Redwhiteandblue 3,330
The Gallant pioneers book is the best Rangers book I have ever read. I would recommend it to everyone. The price the are wanting for it on Amazon is ridiculous though. I think it was about £150 at the last check, apparently this is because the book is no longer getting printed. I paid £25 for mine, and that was a signed copy (brand new).I understand there is an updated version going to be out soon, so I would hold off for that if anyone is interested in buying it. harlands plater 17,193
I can't see many modern Rangers players having a way with the pen like that It's harder now, they only have 140 characters to say it all.

So that is maybe something that can get changed on the site and probably passed on to Gary Ralston?? (I assume he is doing the update?) can the article be verified?
