Supporters should not travel if they do not have a ticket. An early screening of tickets will be carried out in Wellington Street to ensure that supporters are guided to the appropriate turnstiles.VISITING SUPPORTERSRangers FC supporter will access the ground via the six turnstiles at Wellington Street, Montrose. Turnstiles 5-6 will be utilised by Rangers supporters occupying the uncovered north terrace.Turnstiles 1-4 will be used by Ranger’s supporters who have tickets for the covered terrace. These turnstiles will also be used by Rangers supporters occupying the gravel area at the south west area of the ground. Rangers supporters with tickets for the main stand will access the stadium via a gate situated at the south west corner of the ground, beside the main car park. Access to this area will be via a designated pathway, consisting of heras fencing, running from the right-hand side of the west exit gate.A designated area at the front of the main stand will be utilised by disabled supporters. FLAGS / BANNERS / SEARCHES AT TURNSTILESBanners are allowed, but no flags with poles will be allowed into the ground. Surfing flags are not allowed. In order to ensure the safety of all persons attending the match supporters will be searched at the turnstiles. To avoid delay in accessing the ground supporters are asked not to carry rucksacks or bags to the stadium. TRAVELLING SUPPORT ROUTESLEAVE PLENTY OF TIME FOR THE JOURNEY.Rangers FC supporters coaches travelling from the south will be encouraged to travel north up the A90 Dundee to Brechin. Variable Message Signs on the A90 Perth/Dundee dual carriageway and Kingsway, Dundee will be used to inform drivers of the coaches of the routing along the A90.Rangers FC Supporters Coaches will travel north on the A90 trunk road and will be directed to use the second exit for Brechin. A sign will be located on the west verge with the wording “Police - Football Coaches” and a direction arrow pointing north. Thereafter take the second exit at the B966 / Edzell junction.Follow the signs located on the west verge with the wording “Police – Football Coaches” and a left direction arrow. Coaches will then travel off on the A90 slip road to the roundabout at its junction with the B966.Continue through Trinity village to Brechin. There are clear directions to advise all motorists of the correct route to Brechin. On entering Brechin, coaches will travel down Trinity Road and turn left into Southesk Street, onto Montrose Street and then along the A935 towards Montrose. Once in Montrose the coaches will proceed along Brechin Road and turn right (south) at the traffic lights on North Esk Road. The buses will then continue south until they reach North Street where they will be directed by a sign to turn left into North Street before crossing into Dorward Road. At the junction of Dorward Road/ Provost Scott’s road a points person will direct the buses.Road Policing Officers will then direct parking of the buses.All other Football traffic will be expected to park in residential areas of the town.Supporters will alight from the buses and access Links Park Football Stadium by walking northwards towards Wellington Street.SIGNAGE‘Football Coaches’ directional signage will be located at:-• A90 - Junction with A935 – Football Coaches directed to travel straight ahead. • A90 - Junction with the B966 – Football Traffic directed to turn left.• Brechin Road/North Esk Road (A92) – Football Coaches directed to turn right• North Esk Road/ North Street - Football Coaches directed to turn left• Dorward Road/ Provost Scott’s Road - Football Coaches directed to turn rightPARKINGThere is no dedicated parking in relation to this match. Supporters will be encouraged to ATTEND EARLY and utilise ‘on street’ parking near to the ground. Suggested streets would include those around the harbour area including Ferry Road, Provost Reid’s Road and Garrison Road. There may also be some parking in the area of Broomfield Industrial Estate.POST MATCH ARRANGEMENTSAt the conclusion of the match Rangers FC Supporters Coaches will be escorted out from the Mid-Links area westwards in North Street and out onto North Esk Road, then turned left onto Brechin Road. Thereafter along the A935 towards Brechin and then South Esk Street and then directed onto Trinity road (B966) where they will travel northwards before joining the A90 to travel either north or south.Any coaches approaching the points person at Panmure Place/Academy Square and wishing to take the A92 south can signal their intention and continue south towards George Street.Any coaches approaching the points person at the traffic light junction on North Esk Road/Brechin Road and wishing to proceed north on the A92 can signal their intention and continue north.
